Do you have all of your pins on your trades list or do you have some that are keepers and are not on your trades list.

I personally have alot of pins that are keepers and are not on my trades list.
 
I only have my traders on my trades list... though to be honest I am thinking of adding some of my keepers to it... pins that I wouldn't mind trading for the right pin.
 
I put all the pins I own in "owns". This is both so that I can keep track of what I've got, and so that if something REALLY special comes along, that I might give up something out of my keepers for, I can look at the person's "wants" matches to my "owns".

Then I put the ones that are strictly traders-- and a few of the semi-keepers, ones that I like to display with my collection but that I'd give up easily, in my "trades".
 
To me, traders are traders, and keepers are keepers. I might part with a keeper, but it would have to be a pin I really, really, really wanted, plus how hard was it for me to get the one I might be parting with. The only time I list a pin as a keeper and a trader at the same time is if I have 2+ of the pin
 
If a pin is in my collection, it's not available for trading. Traders are available for trade and/or for sale. If I happen to have a trader that's also in my collection, it means I have two of those pins.

And then there are a bunch of pins that I'll never part with which aren't listed in my collection on Pinpics. It's my "private collection" and I know what they are so I don't need to mark them in Pinpics.

Yep, same here. Sometimesif its a pin I really, really want I'll havea look if there are any matches in my collection.
I've only ever bought myself to trade from my collection once and it felt all wrong - even though it was an OE!
 
I only have very basic pins at this point so anything would be for trade if the right pin was available. I haven't spent any time posting traders at this point, I only have one posted. lol I think I only have 4-5 pins that would be a no trade for any reason.
