Unsold D23 pins are getting destroyed by Disney?!?

That pin is from WDI (Mickey's of Glendale) and did not sell out. I personally saw some left over that Sunday evening. I was hoping they would sell leftovers Sunday night since my Sorcerer Hat Collection was complete until this one. I was told by the Merchandise Manager that because this was made specifically for the Sorcerer Package, they could not sell it to anyone else.

Even though this was specifically for them, it was not free. They had a voucher in their package allowing them to buy this pin. So some may have decided not to buy it. There were 300 Sorcerer Packages and 300 pins. So it was impossible that it Sold Out to someone who had a voucher for it.

At the fall D23 Saturday at MoG, it will be interesting to see if the leftover sorcerer guest sorcerer hat pins re-appear in grab bags, the MoG pin board, or the framed pins.

I bet they will end up at Company D; they usually have a lot of D23 stuff there

Just like the Star Wars shirts that "sold out" in hours on May the 5th...suddenly there are crap loads of them at Company D the following week....
