UPDATE - FRIDAY, JUNE 1ST - I just received an email from Clay. He has been ill, but is better now. He mailed my pins today. I am glad that my suspicions were unwarranted.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone here know Mr_B_Pin_Trading_EMT? Or have a trade in progress with him?

His name is Clay Bowman and he is from Winter Park, FL.

If you have any information about trading with him, please let me know.

Thanks!

I appreciate your responses! I am engaged in a trade with him, and he should have sent his pins no later than May 14th. I have not received my pins, I have no tracking number from him, and I cannot get a response after multiple tries. He already has my pins. One person has contacted me privately that she is having a similar problem.

If anyone knows him personally - please suggest that he resume communications and straighten out his trading problems. Pintrading is a small world, and a bad reputation can have huge affect on future trading.

ETA: I know people sometimes have very good reasons for mailing pins later than expected. But when someone stops communicating, that arouses suspicions.

Thanks.

I just got a TA from him this morning, and I have traded with him before as well

Note: You might want to pull his personal info off your initial post. I do not know if that is against the board rules posting it

I'm in the same situation at the moment!! I received an email that he wasn't feeling well, and a week later that he was feeling better and the pins would be shipped! That was almost two weeks ago and nothing yet! I have emailed him twice already but no response yet!! I hope the pins are on their way!!!

So glad to hear that all is well ... sometimes we forget that even us pin traders are human and life does get in the way sometimes. When you are really ill you don't feel like emailing people or you may not even able to email people and if you live alone it's hard to get an email sent. So happy all worked out ok and that you waited a bit longer before escalating the problem! Take care and happy pin trading!! *bjr

I am also in the same situation as pin sent on 5/12 which he received on 5/17 and heard back 5/19 that he was ill but nothing since but sending that week. I started following up on 5/26 but haven't heard.

Thanks to your post I am feeling better about the whole situation as I believe that I should hear from him soon. Our trade was a new LE release pin which is no longer available in the park so replacing that would be challenging.

6/2 Additional update - Clay provided a tracking number last night, and indeed my pin package is on the way!

I hope this means that he will be catching up on all his trades.

If you have both his email addresses, I suggest you contact him at both. I think he may have easier access to the @gmail address.

I'm waiting for 2 It's a small world attraction posters from Clay. He is an EMT and said he was accidentally stuck with a dirty needle and had to go a round of shots and anti-virals. He hasn't sent me a message though about my pins, but I know he has the ones I sent him. Hopefully he comes through for me too.

Sorry to bring this back up,but I just finished a multi-trade with him ..we traded on 12/31/12.....he recieved my pins ASAP,it took over a month for me to get his...
and then he only sends one and there was suppose to be 2 ..so I had to wait again for the 2nd one,I actually filed a complaint with pinpics as he was not communicating with me
he said he worked alot of hours, but I think a five minute email giving me a statis would of been good,I will not trade with him again!!

He IS an EMT, who I think, works lots of shifts. BUT I do agree he should try to keep communicating & mail as soon as he can. A month is WAY too long
