There were fans from all over the world who attended this party - England, Philadelphia, Arizona, Jacksonville, Clermont and many other places. Thank you for making this party such a huge success. January 18, 2011
We had a few days off and now were back for another week of exciting news. First, a big thank you to the many fans who attending the release of Vinylmation - Star Wars on Sunday at the Disneyland® Resort. We spoke with Mike Sullivan this morning and he said he had a blast meeting you. We even heard he stayed about two and a half hours after the schedule time due to the popularity. So a big thank you to the many guests who attended. As soon as we get some photos, we'll post them.

Overall, this past weekend was truly exciting for us. We tried some new things and are thankful for your positive response.

If you haven't read the Disney Parks Blog article about the Vinylmation - Star Wars series yet, you should. Steven has answered several burning questions about the current and future series (well, not too much detail about series #2 ... just know, Casey Jones is working on it). Click here to read the article - The Force is Strong with Vinylmation.

An important update regarding the release of the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World® Vinylmation™ Figures scheduled for release on Friday, January 28. The figures will be released at D-Street in Florida on January 28. We had to move the release date for D-Street in California. The new release date is February 4 (which is perfect since Vinylmation™ - Cutesters, Too will also be released that day!). We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

It looks like we will have to move the release of the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World® Vinylmation™ Figures for D-Street in California. The new release date is February 11, not February 4 as indicated below. Trust us, we didn't want to move them but there was a delay in receiving them. Check out the Events page for an updated release calendar.

And we are back. Our apologies for the long delays between posts on this "blog." We had some technical difficulties but all is fine now, and we have lots to update.

First, to our Facebook fans, we are quite behind in sharing this update. We successfully passed the 7,100 fan mark. As promised, here is a look at some upcoming three-inch figures inspired by the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World® Resort.

20110207_VMWDW40th01.jpg

This is a figure inspired by the first one-day passports introduced in 1981. It was designed by Thomas Scott.

20110207_VMWDW40th02.jpg

And this ... well, this is just awesome. Also designed by Thomas Scott.

The final preview is of a figure by Casey Jones. It was created for the upcoming event on September 9-11, 2011 called "The Florida Project." What a classic slice of the 1970s!

Next goal on The Facebook = 8,200 fans.

We had the release of Vinylmation™ Cutesters, Too last Friday. Yes, there are super mystery chasers. We love, love, love this series and hope you do too.

Check out the EVENTS page for an updated release calendar. February 18 will be a nerd-tastic day. In fact, we declare it Official Vinylmation™ Nerds Rock day! Make sure to wear your nerd glasses that day - we will.

We mentioned yesterday that there are super mystery chasers in the recently released Vinylmationâ„¢ - Cutesters Too series. To help clarify, here are some images of them.

20110208_Cutesters2_BubbleChasers.jpg

This first super chaser (or variant) is a purple version of the yellow bubble figure.

20110208_Cutesters2_AppleChasers.jpg

The second super mystery chaser - the green apple - is a variant to the mystery chaser - the red apple.

As for how many were made of each ... well, that is information that unfortunately we can't share. We can say that the super chasers are more rare than the mystery chaser.
