Mike will be on hand for a special appearance and signing from 9am to 11am at Little Green Men Store Command in Tomorrowland Area at Disneyland® Park.
Limit TWO (2) cases per Guest. Limit TWO (2) items signed per Guest. We ask that you bring no personal items to be signed. Event and information are subject to cancellation or change without notice including but not limited to dates, times, artwork, release dates, and retail prices. The infamous Disney Villains will be making their appearance in Vinylmation™ form on May 6 at D-Street at Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort. As a special courtesy, the Disneyland® Resort D-Street location will open at 8:00 a.m. Vinylmation™ collectors will recognize this collection as the same blind box collection initially released at Disney Store locations in January. The wait is over! May 13 will bring the release of the highly anticipated Animation #1 9" Figures of Hyancith Hippo from Walt Disney's Fantasia and Willie the Whale from Walt Disney's Make Mine Music. Due to the Downtown Disney® Car Masters Weekend event at Downtown Disney®' West Side, the Walt Disney World® Resort release will be at Art of Disney Parks at Downtown Disney® Marketplace. Disneyland® Resort will release the figures at D-Street at Downtown Disney® District.
Looking ahead, here are three more Vinylmationâ„¢ Figures that couldn't be more diverse. The imagination of all of our artists never ceases to amaze us. And one can never have enough penguin Vinylmationâ„¢ Figures, don't you agree?

We have several updates regarding upcoming releases for 9-inch figures from Urban #6. Mark your calendars for May 20 as these figures will be released at D-Street and via the on-line theme park store.
You may recognize the Viking by Doug Strayer as it inspired the recently released Vinylmation Viking ear hat.

One figure did catch our eye - Eric Caszatt's incredibly happy Vinylmationâ„¢. Seriously, have you seen a happier figure? We couldn't help but smile when we photographed it. So we asked Eric how he created this design.
"This figure is a great example of letting the creative process take over. When I started, I wanted to do something psychedelic. I began tweaking colors as I continued through the design process. By the end, it turned into some crazy, happy figure like from some 1980s cartoon or video game. Some people have said that it looks like Maria Clapsis did the artwork. Perhaps her art style influenced my design."
Anyway, it is one of our new favorite figures!

We invite you to stop by D-Street at Downtown Disney® WestSide in Florida from May 13-15 to see the new Cars 2 set coming this summer. We just got the final samples of the figures and thought this would be the perfect weekend to put them on display (PLEASE NOTE - they won't be for sale ... only displayed ... we didn't want you to race on over to be first in line).
Why display the set this weekend? There is a special "Cars" event taking place all weekend called Downtown Disney Car Masters Weekend.

Oh today is an exciting day in Vinylmation-land. We have all sorts of announcements that we hope you will like.
First, the image above is the "Cars 2" set that we recently displayed at D-Street in Florida for the Car Masters Weekend (by the way, we hope you were able to attend the weekend). Contrary to popular belief, these figures are NOT part of a larger collection. The series will be sold in a two-figure set (with background) - similar to the infamous Wall-E and Eve set released in January 2010. The major difference is that this set is open edition. Stay tuned for a release date as it is coming soon.
Second, the Cast Chasers we first told you about at the Vinylmation Showcase event in August 2010 are being released soon (please don't start looking for them today!). We are distributing the figures to locations in Florida this week. Why Floriday only? These two figures complement the Walt Disney World 40th Anniversary figures. Don't worry - we are working on Cast Chaser figures that will be introduced to the Disneyland® Resort.
So what are Cast Chasers? These 3-inch figures will be distributed to Cast Members to use for trading with guests. The figures will not be available for retail, nor will they be sold via the on-line store. The only way to add the figures to your collection is via trading. The figures do not have a finite production number similiar to their open edition retail counterparts. Give us about a week or so and you may start finding these figures while trading Vinylmation with Cast.
Finally, we have some really exciting news about a new series being released at the Disney Stores on June 6. The limited release mystery series is called Cutesters Like You and we hope, like us, that you will love it! There will be 11 known figures and one mystery chaser figure. Each figure will have a retail of $9.95 (or you can purchase a whole tray to get the entire set). The figures were designed by Disney artist Dan Beltran. Stay tuned for additional looks and information about the figures in this new series.

Two Vinylmation™ figures will be released soon in honor of the grand opening of two new attractions at Disney California Adventure® Park, The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure and Goofy's Sky School.Look for more details on these releases in the near future.

We have a pretty sweet update today. For a few weeks now, we have shown artwork for Vinylmation™ - Bakery. This new collection once was planned to be a limited edition set. Once we saw the figures, the decision was made to change it to an open window box with no limit on production (please note that the packaging still has the "limited edition" call out). The figures will be released on June 3 at the D-Street locations in California and Florida.
Today we have a look at the packaging and some of the figures.
Susan Foy created the artwork for these figures. You may recall her work on the Disneyland® 55th Anniversary - 9-inch figures released in July 2010.
Here is a look at three of the figures "covered" in frosting.
You can remove their frosting to reveal their true character.

Several important and (hopefully) interesting updates today. Fasten your seat belts!
On Friday, May 27, we are releasing the Vinylmationâ„¢ - Disney Afternoon - Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers set at the D-Street locations in California and Florida. D-Street in Florida will open at 10:30 a.m. and D-Street in California will open at 8:00 a.m. on that day.
Also being released on Friday, May 27 is a 9-inch figure for the Disney Store at Times Square in New York City. Wow! This one is awesome!! It was designed by Jim Valeri and features the Statue of Liberty. The colors on this figure really shine!
For fans in Florida who are attending Star Warsâ„¢ Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studiosâ„¢, we have good news! The Vinylmation - Star Wars Series #1 will be back in stock AND, to celebrate, we are holding a special meet and greet with Disney Artist Mike Sullivan who designed the series. He will be signing figures on May 27 and May 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Jabba's Hut (the specially designed merchandise location located near Disney's Rock 'N Roller Coaster).

We promised some additional exciting news today ... so here goes. Today we are going to focus on Vinylmation at The Disney Stores. First up, Cutesters Like You.
We announced this new limited release mystery series is coming to The Disney Stores on June 6. What we haven't told you is that the figures have names. Above is an image of the figures (sans the Mystery "Chaser") and below are their names. Can you match them?

Yesterday, we shared information about a new 9-inch figure being released at the Times Square store tomorrow. Here is a look at a new 3-inch figure coming to the Times Square Store on June 26. You may recognize that design by Jim Valeri as it was originally featured as a limited edition 9-inch figure. This new 3-inch figure was also designed by Jim and will only be released at the Times Square Store. Here is a look at the turn-around image of the figure.
Alas, the Times Square won't be the only store to have "city specific" figures. There are two new figures coming on June 26 to Stockton Street store in San Francisco, California. The first is a 9-inch, limited edition figure designed by Gerald Mendez. It has an edition size of 1540 and will only be released at the Stockton Street store. The figure features a stunning day and night view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The second item is a 3-inch figure designed by Dan Beltran (of Cutesters Like You fame). The figure features a San Francisco Cable Car and will only be released at the Stockton Street store.
But wait, there is one last bit of information that is super exciting! Starting May 31, we will begin open trading for Vinylmation in Disney Stores (excluding the Outlet stores)! Stay tuned for additional information about trading but know that the experience was modeled after the trading experience from Disney Parks.

Happy Friday! If you are in Florida, we hope to see you at the meet and greet with Mike Sullivan this afternoon inside Jabba's Hut at Disney's Hollywood Studiosâ„¢. Mike will be signing figures from Vinylmationâ„¢ - Star Warsâ„¢ Series #1 and meeting fans from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We are happy to share some additional looks of figures that are being created by Noah for a special release party celebrating Ariel's Undersea Adventure on June 11 at Disney California Adventure. Noah will be releasing 12 custom hand painted 3-inch Figures (Retail: $150 each), and 12 custom hand painted 9-inch figures with stand Retail: $595 each). The release party will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Treasures in Paradise ins Disney California Adventure® Park.
We have a few photos from Mike's meet and greet this afternoon. Congrats to the guest who scored the Obi-Wan Kenobi variant. Awesome!
Mike will be at Jabba's Hut on Saturday, May 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. After Saturday, Mike is headed to Disneyland® Park on June 4 for a special appearance and signing event. It will be held from 9am to 11am at Little Green Men Store Command in the Tomorrowland® Area.

It's greetings from the Disney Store on Oxford Street in London. The team shared with us a few photos of new figures being released at the location. They are carrying the United Kingdom flag from the Vinylmation® - Flags series. They have also released two 9-inch figures by Mark Wagner. These are open edition figures and have a retail of £30.00 each.

We are happy to announce that the next Disney Trading Night for the Walt Disney World® Resort will be on Friday, July 8. This event will take place at Disney's Contemporary Resort in the Fantasia J Ballroom from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Hope to see you there!

We have an update regarding the release of the 9-inch figure pictured above. This figure was recently released via the Disney Parks On-Line Store ahead of the planned June 17 release date.
We have had to make a small modification to the release locations. Only D-Street in California will be releasing this figure on June 17. Originally D-Street in Florida was to also release the figure on June 17 but this won't happen. Why? Unfortunately, some of the planned allocated quantities made their way to the on-line store and that quantity sold out. We apologize for the mix up.

Mark you calendars for June 24 as two limited edition figures will be released at the D-Street locations in California and Florida. Part of Vinylmationâ„¢ Park #6, both of these figures were designed by Maria Clapsis. The "Alien Encounter" figure contains a 9-inch plus a 3-inch figure. It has an edition size of 1,000 and a retail of $74.95. We are just glad that Skippy is no longer suspended indefinitely.
The other figure was inspired by Disney-Pixar's Up. It too has an edition size of 1,000 but a retail of $44.95.
These items will also be released via the Disney Parks On-Line Store.
We found something that we thought you may like to see - the original flat artwork for the 9-inch Alien. Awesome stuff!
So June 24 will be a celebration of the artwork of Maria Clapsis! Yay - we love her!

We are excited to announce that Custom Car Builder and Designer Chip Foose has created a one-of-a-kind Vinylmation™ Figure that will be released on Saturday, June 25. Chip will be on hand at The Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A.® in Disneyland® Park from 9am to 11am for a special appearance and signing of his "Cars" inspired images. These new works of art feature a few of your favorites like Doc Hudson, Lightning McQueen, Flo & Ramone and Mater in front of Disney attractions and icons including Autopia, The Haunted Mansion®, the Disneyland® Railroad Locomotive and Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Meanwhile, we have images of the one-of-a-kind figure that Chip has created. It will have a retail of $1,500. Reflecting a Southern California and Huntington Beach lifestyle, where Foose Design is headquartered, this 9-inch figure features a 60s era surf/beach theme complete with palm trees which are easily identified with Chip Foose and Foose Design.

Arrrgh!! We spot Pirates on the horizon. We mentioned a few weeks ago that the new Vinylmationâ„¢ - Pirates of the Caribbean series would be released in July.
Today, we are thrilled to announce that the Pirates will invade D-Street in Florida on July 1 for a special release party that launches this new mystery series!
The festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with the release of the mystery series. Then, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Disney Design Group artist Casey Jones will be on hand for a special appearance and signing event. Casey created the artwork for this series based on the classic attraction found at both Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort.

As a follow up to our weekend post about the Vinylmation™ - Pirates of the Caribbean series, we received word today that Hong Kong Disneyland® will be releasing the series on June 18.
And one thing you may have discovered is that we have posted the Mystery Chaser for this series. It's not a mistake - we thought you'd like to see it as we love it!
Speaking of things we love, we are happy to announce that the first 9-inch figure from the Vinylmationâ„¢ - Muppets #2 Series will be released on June 24 at the D-Street locations only (this one won't be offered via the on-line Theme Park Store). Who is the firs figuret? Sam the Eagle, of course, in honor of a holiday that celebrates America.
The figure has an edition size of 1,500 and a retail of $44.95. It was designed by Monty Maldovan from Disney Design Group.

Two unique Annual Passholder figures are coming to Embarcadero Gifts at Disney California Adventure® Park and D-Street at Downtown Disney® District in California on July 8. These figures will only be sold to Annual Passholder who present a valid annual pass. They are open edition and are $14.95 each. Below are the figures in their open window box packaging.

We have an update to our post yesterday about the Pirates of the Caribbean series at Hong Kong Disneyland®. The series will be released on June 18, not June 16 as stated yesterday. And forget what we said about the film being released in June.

Good news for fans in California!
We have moved up the release date for the Vinylmationâ„¢ - Pirates of the Caribbean series. It will now also be released on July 1 to match the release date in Florida. We also received a few images today from the Disney Store team in Denmark! This is the first Scandinavian Disney Store and is located at Amagertorv 8, Copenhagen, Denmark. They have released two figures at the store - a 3-inch and a 9-inch.

It's a day of updates for you.
If you are looking to order merchandise via mail order, we have some updated contact information. Guests with questions about merchandise sold at stores located at Disneyland® Resort, Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney Vacation Club Resorts, and Disney Cruise Line® should call 1-877-560-6477 or email: merchandiseguestservices@disney.com.
We also made a small change to the upcoming release calendar. The two figures from Park #6 featuring Alien Encounter and Disney-Pixar's "Up" will still be released at the D-Street locations on June 24. The on-line release, however, has been delayed until further notice. We will update once we know quantities will be made available on-line.
Finally, we have some updated information for the release on July 8 of the two Passholder Exclusive figures at Disneyland® Resort.
- July 8 is a block out day for Southern California and Select Passholders, but Premium and Deluxe Passholders will have access to the Parks (hence the two locations - Embarcadero Gifts at Disney California Adventure® Park and D-Street at Downtown Disney® District).
- D-Street will open at 8:00 a.m. while Embarcadero Gifts will open at 9:30 a.m.
- There a purchase limit of two figures, per style, per passholder, per day.
Am I reading the update correct for the UP Vinylmation? No online sales do to lack of quantity. No WDW releases because the update did not include WDW. Only DLR will have the release at D Street?
