So, I bought one of my most wanted-est pins in the whole world on eBay (ewBay), for a whopping $90. I probably overpaid, but the sentimental value of the pin outweighs the dollar value for me. My heart literally dropped in to my feet when I saw it listed, and I made my best offer, then they counter offered, then I counter offered...and it just went on and on lol. But finally, the battle was over, and I have been eagerly awaiting the pin to arrive now.

The seller "shipped it" five days ago, but the tracking simply reads "Electronic shipping info received". Always makes me nervous. I have already waited almost a week for this pin, and its driving me bonkers! My poor post man is afraid of me. I keep peeking out the window waiting for him to leave the mailbox so I can run to it and gaze upon its pin-less-ness every day. He probably looks at me in the review mirror and thinks I'm insane...

Anyways, when you guys are waiting for a most wanted pin, how do you feel? I am excited but also terrified it will get lost in the mail or damaged or eaten by a sewer monster or Huns or something.

 
I feel the exact same way... My mailman knows my craziness so well when he sees my car in the driveway an I have a package he rings the doorbell twice to signal me. Haha. But I still wait til he leaves my driveway before I run out and grab it and run back in.

Most of the LE/hard to find Pocahontas pins will be the death of me.

I am usually run to the mail box when I know a pin will arrive. My heart breaks every time the pin does not come. I've been waiting for the DSF Thanksgiving Pocahontas for a month now. If it doesn't come soon, I'm just buying it because it doesn't sell for much but I really love the pin.
 
omg i totally know what you mean at this exact moment. I just got one of my grails for $75 on ebay after a battle of offers. Totally cannot wait for it to come in!

Yeah, the waiting is so hard >.< I'm bad enough with regular pins, I can't imagine how bat it'll be when I'm waiting for a grail in the mail
 
I'm waiting for 2 or 3 packages right now. When I get home to find out there's nothing waiting, I just want to go to bed and start over. Hahaha.
 
I'm normally impatient just waiting for mail anyway as I love getting post ^___^
It can be even harder for me as most of my pins as purchased from overseas and I have to wait ages for them to arrive! It literally kills me! My heart skips a beat when I hear the post dropping through the letter box!

I hope it arrives really soon for you!
 
I'm waiting for some post right now. Not grail mail but I run to the door every time the posts gets put through the letterbox haha!
 
I'm the same!! What is usually only a week or so seems like months lol when you're waiting for that special letter or package....well done on getting a grail!! Xxx
 
Omg, congrats!! What did you get? It does suck waiting and waiting for that special pin to finally come. But at least you know it's in the way and will be there soon. Yay!!
 
I'm waiting for a very special pin, then I hear the letter box flap, sounds like nothing heavy fell through so don't bother looking, who needs more bills, go back later, and boom it was a 'you weren't in' parcel receipt, except I WAS in stoopid post man, I was in and sat right next to the door! They should give out more honest, 'I couldn't be bothered to knock' slips
 

+1 My mail man was supposed to deliver a signature required package. i am a stay home mom. And I was home both times he has left a freaking "sorry we missed you" slip in my box. Even better, i was not expecting anything from Hong Kong, so WTH is this thing I now have to GO TO THE P.O for???????
 
That's the most annoying thing!! When you don't know what it is lol, I wish they'd leave a little description on the slip lol, once I got so excited and when I picked it up it was a water saver ball for the back of the toilet haha!
 
oh, i HATE when mailmen do that. i swear they just don't bother knocking whenever they don't feel like it. sometimes they don't knock or ring, they just leave the stupid slip...
 
I like when I catch them putting the slip on the door, and open the door as they are trying to tape it. SO awkward for them!!

Btw, my pin still isn't here. :suspect: Its been near two weeks since I made my purchase. Rawr. Getting impatient!
 
Sometimes I get really nervous when waiting for a pin especially when it is coming from overseas and there is no tracking number. Tomorrow will be a month now since a most wanted pin I bought was mailed. It was really hard finding it in the first place and the money I have now to buy pins is tight so I am going to be really heartbroken if it doesn't come. I have been checking the mail box every day and it is getting me depressed.

I hope your pin comes soon. Have you contacted the seller?

I just did! They responded rather promptly, telling me there had been a shipping mixup! :anxious: But the pin is back in their hands and hopefully now on the fast track to me! They also issued a $15 refund, even though I didn't request anything of the sort, which I thought was very kind! Hopefully the pin gets here soon!
