To whoever bought the wall-e marquee that has been sitting on eBay for months, just as I got the money to pay for it:

very not nice...

i kept promising my SO I'd get I for them or the Enchanted marquee when I saw it. :( :(

Things happen sometimes.

It's not a serious complaint. I just found it funny that it has been sitting there and no one wanted it uuntil I PM'd or posted about buying/trading.

I have a very sick family member and a newly broken computer that will need replacing. :( It's kind of a cosmic level why. Although :) I have hope I can find it one day.

kind of a star wars - Vader "nooooo!" :p

upanddugfan1 has one for sale. Look up his thread under Pins For Sale.

Sent them a message earlier before noticing the one on eBay is sold. I always prefer buying from people on the forum over the bay if there is a choice.

I just like knowing the people and maybe being part of a community.

I'm waiting to hear back. I haven't had too much luck with marquees or grails lately.

That means only good luck is waiting ahead though.

This is why I always have a great debate with myself when one of my grails goes up on Ebay. I want to snatch it up because who knows when it will be up again, but I don't want to pay high prices. Wahh.

I know. Its sometimes a tough decision for me.

Do I want grail? Do I want to eat?

And then I have to wonder if it will be up again.

Too many decisions.

$285 whoa ! the most I have ever paid was approx $60 but that just about actual cost of Pin 85213: DLP - Star Wars Pin Event - Jumbo

Is $285 a good price?

Sorry I didn't know you wanted

:p silly. In all seriousness, I am happy for whomever got it.

I'm sure it will be up there again.

I am sure you're correct, but now I'm buying it off a fellow DPFer here. :)

I want the Wall-e marquee! Gimme! Gimme! lol

Ack! Bad little chicken little! Lol do we need to discuss my chicken salad recipe again ;) :p lol

I honestly never know anymore :) I don't really have much luck with trading so I have had to pay much more than some would find reasonable for some of my hardest won pins.

I will say for how long I have been searching for this one, for my SO, that it is good to know it is coming home to him :)

PT52 MO is the last one... The last wall-e pin :) he has eluded me so far.

ash... i would gladly contribute to your broken computer fund for that wall-e shooting star pin! i need that one to complete my collection... ;-)

I'll replace my broken computer eventually. I'm not starting a fund right now, but I appceciate the offer.

It will be a bleak day if I'm ever selling or trading away my wall-e's. I just need the PT - 52 mo to finish my collection for him, not including the weird gold PT-52 chasers or the new le 200 chasers.

I have about 6 pins I still need to complete my collection, i found two reasonably priced on ebay (which i was very surprised about)... i have the gold pt-52's (and agree they are weird looking)... i have a set of the wall-e's from the new mystery set and am on the fence about the gold chasers... i don't know how much i like that the pin is still relatively the same, just the center part is gold... you got to the posting on here about the wall-e pins before i did... so i couldn't claim dibs to the shooting star in time... wall-e is all we really collect so i am always on the look out for the ones that are hard to find and that i am missing... the big wall-e face with the googly eyes (eyes that move) is also one that is alluding me as of late!

I realize pins have high values..but can anyone explain to me why if almost all marquees are LE300, that some sell for $20 and some for $300? Other than simply which movie they represent?
