Washingtonian newbie

Oh hey! I used to call Woodinville/Redmond home, but I'm in Utah now. Are there certain characters or themes that you're focusing on?
I'm so new I haven't fully figured that out yet. Definitely the classics ~ Mickey, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, etc . . . I haven't seen a lot of the newer movies yet. Have a plan to work on that :-D

Welcome! I'm another ex-Washingtonian, grew up in Bellingham, went to UW, and then ended up back in Bellingham for a few years before moving away in 2003. DH is from Oak Harbor. DH's family lives throughout the greater Seattle to Olympia area so we get back there at least once a year. The in-laws live in Arlington, so we can at least pop into one of the last remaining Disney Store Outlets pretty easily.

That's awesome!! So nice to 'meet' you :-) My DH and I met in Bellingham at WWU in 1981. Our son currently lives there but will be moving a bit north to Ferndale next month. I worked in Mount Vernon for nearly 20 years. Looking forward to visiting the Disney Outlet Store, hopefully in the not to distant future.
Thanks :-)

Welcome! This is a great resource and community. Let us know what questions you have.

I'm located in Mount Vernon, so not too far from you.

Have a great time collecting!

Thanks so much!! I worked in Mt Vernon for nearly 20 years, commuting from Oak Harbor. I just need an excuse to head that way.

Welcome to the forum and collecting. :lgm:
Thank you so much :)
Welcome! and what are you looking to collect?

Hi there, and welcome! As I am sure you can realize from your short time in the hobby, it it very easy to get sucked in, and there are 100k+ pins out there so it can be easy to get overwhelmed! It's good that you have some areas of focus already.

Robin Hood is my #1 main collection, so I am always happy to have another collector join the Sherwood Forest fold! :)

So glad!! This is all very overwhelming.

Hi and Welcome! Believe me, I understand all too well about rabbit holes (I've fallen down more than a few myself, usually when I should be sleeping lol)

We're very happy you found us and we're looking forward to connecting with you, too, and watching your collection grow (once you have decided what to collect). If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
