Hi, i just got really into pin buying and trading this year after being WDW crazy for years. I am heading down to fla. soon and want to know if there are any other good places to look for pins besides downtown disney or the parks? any scoop?:hsd:

Welcome to DPF!Well theres a Disney Outlet by DTD!they carry pins on clearance to trade,and the Cast Members trade there as well
 
oh great, i have time and would love to try different places....do you or anybody happen to know the name of the outlet or location? I am sure if i google disney outlet store i will get a ton--all the nick nac places down there. thanks for your input!

There are 2 outlets that are in the Orlando area. One is just off I-4 and very close to Disney. The website will have directions, and a layout map. The store is called Disney Character Premiere.

The other one is a little farther away. Also, accessible from I-4 but down by International Drive and more in the Universal Studios area. This store is called Disney's Character Warehouse

Thanks Hope--that was sweet of you to give me all that info! You also Judy. This gal is ready to be outa jersey and down in orlando where i belong! I hope i find some good pin finds :p I looked at your wants Hope but nothin i have matches :( I'll keep my eyes peeled down there...especially for those stocking pins--ya never know!

Don't forget the resorts. Wilderness Lodge has a nice pin cart and pin trading book. Also the Contemporary has a big selection of pins in their gift shop. If you are heading down soon (next few weeks), you can probably find some of the Holiday Gingerbread house pins at the various resorts. Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Beach Club, Boardwalk Resort, and there is a Gingerbread Epcot pin as well. Have fun on your trip!
 
Thanks JDL, great tip on visiting the resorts and i am intrigued on the gingerbread pins....so i will keep an eye. I will hit epcot (foood and WINE) and take everyones adivce. Thanks everyone, so helpful! I cant wait to go!!!!!
