Wow, I'm impressed to finally be seeing WDW have a PTN back at a resort. Do they still sell PTN pins or are they now obsolete? Thanks for sharing!
Hi Cast members have said PTN pins will return in 2016 if the PTN remains trouble free we will see; if so it will probably follow Disneyland and have the pins sold @DTD the day of the PTN Fingers crossed.

Can't Wait! All signed up! Does anyone know if an infant (2 years-old) requires the $10 payment? I selected the 0-3 age range and it still prompted me to pay the $10.

What at do they mean by trouble free? Were there problems before?

I wonder how this turnout will be given no PTN pin and GenEARation D in September. I hope the turnout is good, as we are really looking forward to the event!

I wonder if they plan to have pin boards there, also, if there won't be a PTN pin.

Also, I thought I read somewhere that there's no more "in-park" trading at WDW, which I'm assuming means the EPCOT tables. Could this PTN be the start of its gradual return?

The EPCOT tables were only gone during the marathon. There's still trading in the parks and we've had PTNs since February this year, every two months.

Oh, wow, okay! Thanks for correcting me on that!

Of course! The PTN's have really been slumping in attendance. I went to the first two and then I got scheduled for work during June's. A lot of really small trades happen there, and I feel like all the bigger traders are always holding out because of the small pond. A lot of new people as well, I've made a couple of friends from my trades there! So, join us (if I and you can make it)!

I feel like they would attract a larger crowd if they had some sort of raffle or LE blind pin grab. I know it would probably make me want to take time off work or work earlier in the day.

Honestly, all they'd really need to do to boost attendance is have a pin release to go along with it. I mean, there's more I'd LIKE to see them do with each one, but all they'd really need is a strong LE 500 with a good character and they'd get a boost.

I know we've heard that pins might be back on the table for next year if things keep going smoothly.

I've been to all wdw's this year and agree it's been a diff crowd but we've had fun each time and made some good trades.. We ended up registering at the door for last months as I was scheduled to work but got off early so dashed over..

there is only guest to guest trading.. No boards to trade from, no pins to buy (you get the courtesy Rice Krispie treat though)

One other thing they could do to boost attendance is set the dates earlier, and preferably in a pattern (for example, every other month, second Friday or something like that). I live in Tennessee and I have gone to one (maybe two) of them, but it's really hard to make plans (schedule off work, hotel, airline tickets) two weeks before it's going to happen.

The last time I was there, I did some really good (and some high-end) trades. I think the bigger issue is that with fewer people around, the odds of someone having what I want and me having what they want go down. Still, I'm really happy they're even doing PTN so I won't complain too much!

Yes, the Disney Trading Night has been "jumping around" on the calendar (a last Friday, 2 3rd Fridays and now a second Friday of the month). At least, they HAVE scheduled them every other month since February.

No Pins released, no Trading Boards or even Lanyards on the Cast Members, has "dulled" things down a bit but, Trading and socializing has been FUN (and better than nothing)!!!

Hope to be there again this month. TTFN, Sue

Hope to go to this one. Loved the first one, but haven't had the time since. Anyone have a link please? Thank you
