How do you make an Aventure Is Out There hot air balloon set and not have an Up pin? Uhhh..

I thought that the one on the top row, third in (with the compass design on the balloon) was Up? I can't make out the character in the basket well enough to be sure, though.

Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere- I was so giddy over the nesting dolls and perfumes that I forgot to ask which character it is for the keyhole pin coming out in July- did anyone happen to get a good look?

Saw this pic on Pinformation on FB. Looks like Jiminy.

ETA: Yep, Jiminy.

I was thinking about the nesting dolls and the lack of diversity. Could it be that they wanted to go with European Fairy tales and stories for their character choices? Nesting Dolls are Russian in origin and the characters selected are all from European stories. Even though Tiana's story happens in the USA it is a European story.

Anyway, hopefully it is a successful line and they can do a 2nd series next year that finishes up the princesses and does a few other leading ladies, like Meg and Esmerelda.

Something like that is totally possible. I don't think it was a malicious exclusion. But I do think they should have thought about it more.

Same here, though I did read that the nesting dolls are usually dressed or based off of a change of some sort or a person that goes from rags to riches....which I think alot of these fall under.

(Snow white her dress changed, went from low to queen. Elsa and anna's story deals with change, tiana changed from frog to girl, the 3 fairies fight over changing the color of auroras dress, a book was JUST released on the change of Tinkerbelle through the years, cinderella same as snow, merida was a change of heart/destiny, belle's story involves big changes, and the only ones i don't think are changes are rapunzel and mary poppins but they do fit in for the european side argument or they could be just marketing decisions since Saving mr banks is recent and rapunzel sells)

Having worked in the art industry and in marketing i can say that probably every disney princess/girl got a design, probably 20 DESIGNS, they all got down to 1 or two, and the ones that weren't included were either too similar to each other in color or they weren't as strong as each other.

I think it really sucks for people to immediately go "OH THEY DIDN'T INCLUDE EVERY COLORED PERSON DISNEY OWNS" so it's bad or racist while most the time it doesn't have anything to do with that at all.

Aaaaah, a Timon hula OE! That Bolt OE is adorable, too. I'm also loving the Mufasa/Sarabi/Simba family pin, and the Lion King carded set.

ETA: Oh, and the Rescue Rangers pin! I missed seeing that the first time around.

O-O Oh. My. Gawsh. I definitely need to own that Little Mermaid Puzzle Pin Set! It's just so pretty.... And all of those nesting dolls.... And the Spectromagic Ariel Pin...! *~* This will be the summer of spending for me....

Person of color or not, I'd love to see a nesting doll pin of Lilo (or Nani)!!

EDIT: And while I'm really dreaming of "persons of color", how about a nest doll pin of Pleakley in his female costume. I mean, really, not many green "persons" (aliens) representing here...

Nothing I'm dying after (no WiR pins) but a lot of really nice looking pins from the photos. The nesting dolls (although I sure hope Ariel's hair ends up red) having at least Anna and Elsa and the LM puzzle set

Wow, there are A LOT of pins on there that I want. Very impressed with the selection the next few months Especially excited for the Nesting dolls, what a great idea!
