The nesting dolls are adorable...hoping I can contain myself to just Merida from that set, but will most likely want all of them...also looking forward to the Eau de Magique Merida pin!

Why is it an issue of an almost all white line-up? This is not the first time it has been mentioned. You don't see me saying "I wish it wasn't an all female set of pins"

ETA: Though... now that I look more closely at those nesting dolls... does it bother anybody else that they didn't include more of the princesses of color? No Jasmine, no Mulan, no Pocahontas... just Tiana. Maybe this isn't the whole set?

Didn't notice but good point. A little disappointing, thought Disney would continue to go in a more diverse direction. Would have loved to have seen Mulan in this set.

Go ahead and say that if that's how you feel. Won't bother me. In fact, maybe I'd agree with you. But you having an opinion (or not as the case may be) does nothing to negate mine.

And the reason it's an issue for me is because I like seeing more than just white faces. I can't think of a good reason why Jasmine, Mulan, and Pocahontas were excluded. Why is it an issue that I say that?

This is a cool thread please don't get worked up over opinions. Most likely as someone else on here pointed out they're probably saving some of the characters for the next pack? I mean the little hat mystery packs has like what 2-3 different sets. There's enough disney girls I think to make more than one nesting doll set.
Not that it bothers me now because I adore this set but if later down the line they include pocahontas and mulan I'd be ecstatic for my collection and have jasmine for my friend. :) let's all just admire all the pins we do like...and collectively agree that most of us are probably not going to have much money this summer. Haha

Those nesting doll pins are adorable! I'm going to try to get the whole set. My mom really loves nesting dolls, so that would be a nice thing to have to remind me of her, and she'll love that there's a Mary Poppins :)

you don't have to do what I suggested... You are more than free to express your opinion and I agree with parts of it, but I personally see no fun in picking apart everything you hate that disney releases. Not every release is going to be your cup of tea but it will be someone else I just don't see a point to complaining about everything you dislike. And this doesn't go about just you...this is a generalization. This is a hobby for fun, you should want to admire and enjoy the things you collect not pick apart and say everything is wrong with it. But that's just me.
I personally like to look at the pins I enjoy and collect and if a release comes out with something I don't care for I say nothing cause I'm sure someone else here really loves it. But again that's just me.

On another note... There's nothing wrong with your previous statement about wanting girls of color in the nesting doll series. It's a viable observation considering jasmine is indeed one of the original 6 princess and they showed 5 of them then skipped ahead to tiana and the newer princesses, but I still believe this set will do extremely well and well see a second set of nesting dolls with more diversity. :)

Fair enough. I understand where you're coming from. Personally I'm not bothered when someone expresses the desire to see more pins of a certain character/characters or even less of other characters (see, for example, the discussion in the PTD thread about how Vanellope has three PTDs while many of the other Wreck-It Ralph characters don't have any). To me, that's no different than what I said. And I would hope that my opinion would not diminish anyone else's enjoyment of pins they like. As I said above, I actually think the nesting dolls are super-cute. I sincerely hope you're right and that they do make another set.
 
Way too many cool pins coming out! I am super impressed with the Lion King Puzzle set. I really want to get my paws on these ones- I'm going to assume they are only released in WDW and so I'll have to pay second hand rates, but I think these pins are worth it! I love the Dolls set too, and the Hot Air Balloons. Hopefully the Dolls come to DLR too, because I think I'd have fun tearing open the bag to see who I got! :) I'd be happy with any and all of them! Looking forward to the Merida Crest and the Merida Perfume Bottle in June!
 
Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere- I was so giddy over the nesting dolls and perfumes that I forgot to ask which character it is for the keyhole pin coming out in July- did anyone happen to get a good look?
