What do people do about pin sets that come complete on card?

Hi guys,

This is a bit of a silly question but what is the general thought on opening pins that come together on a single card? I ask because I have a very nice friend in Japan who bought me the Cars 2 set (http://pinpics.com/cgi-bin/group.cgi?group=5781&pin=85686) for my birthday and I don't know whether to open they to display them with my other pins >.<.

I worry about these sorts of things!

I suppose it depends on how much you like the backing. You could take the pins off and keep the backing somewhere safe if you dont.

I keep the backings in a drawer and display the pins with the rest of my collection. If I trade the pin, I put them back on the backing.
