What should I do to these pins?

My friend recently gave me a package of pins that she bought from eBay for my birthday, and I believe there are mostly scrappers/counterfeits in the lot- I shall post pictures when I get home- and I was just wondering: How exactly should I dispose these pins? I wouldn't want these dangerously deceiving pins hurting another trader/collector.... :)

If you are looking to get rid of them, I know a gal on facebook who is using scrappers to make these adorable Mickey stones for her garden.

i would tell your friend the truth and tell her to get her money back, i know it was a gift but that's not fair to her or you, it just adds problems to the pin trading community

I would just through them or give them to some one who would use them for something else I wouldn't tell your friend or give them back to her it would sound very ungrateful land it mite cause arguments hope this helps Damien

I mean I would take it as a learning experience if that was me and I gave pins to someone and they were fake and just explain it nicely and what not and make it just a learning experience, because what if she buys it again for her? I wouldn't want that I would at least let her know what's up and then either keep them and if your friend wants to return them then more power to her and you!

Before making this, I've already told her about the scrappers/counterfeits- I kinda feel bad now, but then again- what's done is done.... :) My friend and I agreed that it's okay, and I told her that it was the thought that counts. c:
I shall try to find someone who needs them for something..... (I might need to review the pins first- I think there might be at least one real pin in there...... *hopes*).

And as a side note, I'm not a girl..... :) Although at a glance of my tone of voice and actions, one may think so........ \[•-•]/ (It's okay....)

Oh my bad -_- I feel like an idiot! My bad I'm sorry and I'm glad it's working out! And honesty is best! Trust me

It's completely okay- :) I understand that on the internet, it's hard to tell- mistakes happen- I once thought a group of adults talking on a certain unarmed website were just teenagers..... XD

And thanks y'all for all your help and support through scrapper/counterfeit findings! I will try to post pictures later- and see if you folks think that they are indeed scrappers.....

Okay! Just PM me your address and I'll try to find a way to send them- I've never sent anything to this date, and so I would love to have a first experience sending pins without any stress from it being a trade.... :)

(It would be my pleasure to give these otherwise useless pins for a good cause c: )

I realize that you are sending these to Tiggermickey, but in the future cut off the backs and then sell them or give them to someone to use for crafting, as lohofosho said they knew of someone who makes stepping stones, there are many other people who craft with them as well, just look at etsy, maybe you'll find inspiration yourself.

you can break off the pin post and make great necklaces or key chains out of them also. Just drill a small hole towards the top of the pin and attach small jump ring so you can attach it to a necklace or keychain.

Tbird: That sounds like a cute idea! :) I'm giving these pins to Tiggermickey this time around, but if I get more fakes/scrappers or pins that I like in the future, I will attempt to make one! Thanks again for letting me know!
