(I have other zaps to acknowledge, but this one was so unexpected and amazing that I had to post it asap.)
So today was not only my first day of work post-vacation, it included torrential rain, stupid traffic, and a late-afternoon meeting. Toto, we are so not in Oz anymore. Ha. But there were two boxes awaiting me when I got home, one being the souvenir box I shipped from the Anaheim PO on Saturday. The other, however, was not the box I had Disney ship.
It was from NutMeg! Buttttttt ... what on earth could Sarah have sent me? (And why? Goofy girl.)
So I open the box and find a high-quality envelope (seriously ... It felt like an invitation to the ball) and two parcels wrapped in bee-yoo-tee-ful tea-themed wrapping paper.
I opened the envelope first and found this extremely lovely card:
(I'm sorry ... I went to Catholic school, so I know Good Penmanship. And this is Fantastic Penmanship.)
So then I had to get the scissors and cut the wrapping paper off the parcels, because it was toooooo pretty to rip apart.
In the smaller box, I found these:
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. Do you see how amazing these look?!?! I don't even want to eat them, they look so good. (Although since Sarah very thoughtfully noted the ingredients, and I am not yet afflicted by food allergies, I will be hoovering them in an undignified fashion soon. I should break even on growing larger and smaller, right?)
In the larger box was this:
Wuuuutttttt. This is amazing. And see how it says to check the back? Here's what I found:
It fluffing SINGS! Sarah sent me a beautiful, thoughtful framed piece of sheet music from one of my favorite movies that PLAYS MUSIC.
I have a dedicated Live Action Cinderella display case, and you can bet your boots that I will be rearranging everything in it to give this a prominent place. (Side note: The old lady across the aisle and two rows up from me on the plane yesterday started watching this movie, and I was totally creeping it over her shoulder. And then she shut it off partway through and I was like, WTFluff!!! Philistine!)
Saaaaarrrraaahhhhhhh I have no idea why you decided I was worthy of your majestic zapping skills but these gifties are insane and I love them and I am so, so thankful to you for bestowing them on me! <3
Beware the one who zaps back. She zaps slowly sometimes (ha) but she tries to make it count.
