I also have various whatnots from Disney films I really like but I don't collect,, I have a couple of lion king pins and potc pins and some Kim possible, but I don't collect them I just like having the odd pin from those movies / tv shows.

Hehe I like pins yay <3

Stitch and Stitch- i ask my kids what pins they like and the answer is always the same. They want to collect nothing but stitch. I am sneeking in attractions and Wall-e

My main collection is Jasmine & Rajah, followed by The Lion King (lions only).

Then my other collections include: Belle, Aurora, Snow White (small collection), Cinderella, Ariel, Aristocats and two very tiny collections of Meg and Figaro.

I kind of love reading threads like this no matter how many times they happen.

Treasure Planet is what got me into pins.
When I was just buying I picked up a lot of Tink. Then, I have a lot of Princess and the Frog, Tangled, some Sleeping Beauty and Enchanted but I am not trying to have them all, and lately Hercules, Pocahontas, and Lady and the Tramp have started to interest me a little. Then just anything else I think is interesting.

First I've collected Walt pins, every pin with Walt I wanted to have, but now I've put most of my Walt collection with my traders and start collecting Belle, Ariel, Cheshire Cat and some Stitch pins that I like. Also I collect the PTN pins from DLP and from the events from DLP

OOOOOH boy

Aladdin. First and foremost, my favorite pins are aladdin pins <3 Then it's
Kingdom hearts (ahahahaaaaa... yeah)
Aristocats
Jessica Rabbit
Tangled
Treasure Planet (Jim only)
And then Goofy, which comes at a last priority, but are the easiest to get since hardly anybody collects goofy. ffff

I am less than a month into my pin collecting hobby, so it's been tough to decide where to begin. I think I have finally narrowed it down to a specific focus...

Black and White Mickey - our recent trip to Disneyland netted me four or five Steamboat Willie and other vintage Mickey/Minnie pins. I added to that with a few from auctions and have a decent collection going. I just have a couple more pins on my wish list, and then I am at a standstill. It's probably going to be the slowest growing collection, as not many black and white Mickey pins are released. This group will be displayed on an extra wide black lanyard I just got today!

Piglet and Eeyore - My wife is absolutely in love with these two. So I started her a collection of just these two characters. She doesn't really show an interest unless we are actually in the parks, so I will keep up with this lanyard collection for her. I bought a sky blue lanyard, and it is going to be full fast. I think I unfortunately I have a couple of scrappers in her collection, but I can phase those out over time with new pins purchased from the Disney store.

I quickly gave up the idea of starting huge collections of my favorite Disney movies... UP and Fox and the Hound... just because of lack of pins or how expensive they are. I am toying with the idea of a Pixar collection featuring up, and a classic Disney collection with Fox/Hound mixed in, so I may start picking up pins here and there very slowly. I like pins with just a character or two featured. Words on pins and anniversary/event pins aren't that attractive to me for some reason.

Beyond that, I have a few pins based on park attractions that will probably be added to a pin board someday when we have a house. I will add to this every time we get a chance to go to an actual park.

I am kind of new with pin collecting as well. Just about 4-6 months now officially.

My main emphasis is Alice in Wonderland and then Mary Blair (the Disney artist). And when the two meet OMG. Those are my grail pins - the Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland drawings pins.

Then I like to collect Tangled (my daughter's favorite movie), Disneyland attractions, Jasmin, Cinderella and other pins that I just find to be fun and interesting.

Mostly Tangled, but also Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Little Mermaid, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Kingdom Hearts.
I'll collect anything I like the look of though

My main themes are Treasure Planet, The Great Mouse Detective and Kingdom Hearts. I'm also working on a collection of Germany themed pins and some Russian themed pins in honor of my heritage (there is a woefully small amount of Russian pins but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Russia pavilion will eventually come to Epcot so more pins will be made). I also collect Donald Duck, he's my favorite of the Fab 5.

Besides that, I collect the random pins that hold some sort of sentimental value; sparks memories and so forth.

I guess you can tell from my Avatar that I collect TIGGER!! Cinderella, since she is my Princess (every girl has to have one), and her Castle AND I have a "smathering" of Patriotic, Holidays we have been at WDW for, Hotels & Restaurants we have stayed at or eaten in, Transportation, Pin Events we have attended, Walt, Figment, Donald & even "cute" or Blue pins (my favorite color). Hard to stick to just 1 or 2 themes with over 90,000 pins out there!!!

I've gone through a few different collections, but currently i'm focused on The Haunted Mansion, Darkwing Duck, The Muppets and some assorted pins from Up and characters. My wife collects Wendy and Peter Pan and Castles.
