I'm pretty darn new to this trading pin thing and I've definitely been bitten by the bug since my honeymoon. I got quite a few things in the parks when I went and I've continued to trawl through Ebay for more good finds(Mostly Scar, but also other Lion King, Bambi, Wall-E, Pirates, etc). I traded a Merida pin to my sister in law(Didn't know she had a lanyard!) for a Nala core pin that was hard to find for less than $20.00, but noticed that the vast majority of my collection I consider "keepers". So here's my question...what are some good and popular pin themes to collect for trading? I just don't have the ability to give away the ones I worked hard to find, but I've enjoyed my limited trading experiences. I'd love to pick up pins I know others would enjoy, but that I feel happy and free to trade without guilt or cringing.

Welcome to pin trading!
As far as what a good thing to collect is, that's entirely up to you. Collect your favorite character, movie, ride, ANYTHING! Some pins make better traders though than others. Stitch, Jessica Rabbit, Tinkerbell, Up, Tangled, and The Little Mermaid tend to be the most popular themes! And if you're ever worried about giving away valuable pins, buy two of that pin so you can keep one and trade one.

Hope that helps :)

Stitch and most princesses are good traders. Little Mermaid and Tangled are especially popular it seems :) Podm's make good traders to if your anywhere near the parks and your willing to put up with the craziness lol

Right now, Up, Tangled and Disney Auction or DisneyShopping.com pins of Princesses, Stitch, Jessica.

It's really what everyone else said but all I want 2 add is the popular themes change all the time! Right now there is a lot of Tangled and Up collectors but that changes when new movies come out,new attractions that have something 2 do with that movie come out(I think that is why the little mermaid is so popular right now :p) or jusy for no real reason... just saying the "popular" themes change all the time :)
