What would you choose??!

Depends how much you like and are going to keep your 25 wants. I used to think quantity always wins but if you get an expensive single pin and change your mind later, it is a lot easier to trade or sell it away.

I found someone who has like a lot of the Germany pro pins for sale for between $4.50 and 6.50 and after I added it all up I realized I could probably get a grail or a couple harder to get wants. But it's so satisfying to delete all those pins from my want list! I can't decide! It's so hard!!

I'd rather get wants, cause I always feel (or hope) that I will be able to obtain my grails for cheap.

I'd go for the 25...unless your grail is a pin that either you've never seen for sale or only a couple of times.

A few of my favorite pins were propins from germany, sometimes you can find them..but in my experience...once they're gone you can't find them again. EVER.

Grails usually are around or stay around.

I always go for the 1 pin because the grails are usually harder to come by and if you're patient then you can slowly get the smaller pins one by one a lot easier than trading for the grail. Plus grails are (to me) more satisfying than then a bunch of pins. ;)

I prefer to check off as much as possible. And after being around for as long as I have, too many "grails" lose their shine. Counterfeiting can destroy a pin's value so easily, throw in trend changes and it's a crap shoot for what will keep it's value. I recently bought a Wet Paint pin for $34. For many years, a $150 pin. Jessica, Stitch, Tinker Bell have all seen their values sink relative to previous years. Jessica through counterfeiting, the other two due to collecting trends. Are you comfortable spending $175 on something that in 5 years or 10 years will be a $30-$50 pin? Sometimes it's not a bother if something is the last pin you need for a collection, or whatever, or it's something so rare that you can go years and only see it once or twice.

Thanks for all the input guys!!! I think I'm going with the bunch of pins! He even took the price down to 155 so I think it's a good deal for a bunch of harder to get (by pinpics numbers at least) pro pins! I can't wait to get them to post a pic of all of them!!!

I have spent that amount on one pin before (King Candy Surprise Release)... I would again ONLY if it is a pin I need for a completist collection. Otherwise, a bunch of pins off my wants is the better option I think.

Oh my goodness, where did you find the seller with all the propins? I am still missing most of the Oliver and Company ones. If they have any of those ones, and you'd be willing to share your source, I'd be very grateful :).

I'm trying to keep my collection reasonably small (we'll see how long that lasts), so I'd go for the one grail myself. If I had a huge list of wants though I'd probably go for the 25. Sounds like you got a great deal!
