I always love thinking about this... If you could collect any pins, all would be the same price so price wouldn't be a factor, what would you collect and why?

For me personally it would be Matterhorn Pins... I absolutely love the Matterhorn as it's my favourite ride in all thee parks but with living so far away it's hard to have three main collections.

The reason I got into pin collecting at all was to have more Dr. Facilier merchandise (of which there is very little!) so I would still collect him even if cost wasn't a factor.

It would be pretty much the same collections I have now. But I would be able to get all the HTF Maleficents, Haunted Mansion etc. It would be sooooooooooooooooo awesome! I think I would want a lot more pins of Emperor's New Groove and other under-appreciated movies.

I'm in the same boat as Maleficent913, I would still collect Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean but I would have all the ones I can't afford right now.

Good question! If money weren't an issue, I'd collect a heck of a lot more! The same ones as I do now, plus I'd love to collect Enchanted, Up, Frozen and Princess and The Frog. Basically, I'd go collecting mad! :p

I would love to have more Beauty and the Beast pins but all of the really beautiful ones are sooo expensive. :( I am really happy with my 3 main collections and how they have been growing lately. I would rather add to my main collections than start more I would never be able to own everything I want.

I would still collect tangled. I may have a little collection of random pins I like that dont fit (I have a few random ones on our wants) im not sure about karl, he like podms but we gave that up due to cost.

I would keep collecting what I collect. It would just makes it so much easier to finish off my POH collection, since I'm mainly missing ones from the first WDW series back in '05.

More international pins. Most of my collections, are missing the ones released in Japan, Paris and Hong Kong. So if I could those, without having to pay more, it would be great. There are also some designs from those locations that I would pick up if they were easier, even though they don't necessarily fit into my myriad of collections already.

If money wasn't an issue I'd collect ALL of the following:

TRON (and TRON Legacy, etc)
Enchanted
Frozen
Ratatouille (which I already collect)
Aulani
Star Wars / Star Tours
Pins from random forgotten Disney movies and shorts like La Luna, Cool Runnings, Flight of the Navigator, etc.
Passholder pins and set
Cast exclusive pins

All major limited releases, like:
Sorcerer Hat WDI (or just WDI in general)
Soda Fountain
Opening Day Movies
Marquees
D23
Anniversaries
etc.

I'd also buy every framed set that has a completer, because it's an easy way to get ALL of the pins and the special one made for the frame. A good example is the pin frame sets from the Not So Scary Halloween Party.

And probably a lot more.

I am a completist and I LOVE full collections of things.

I would collect PTDs and PODMs. I would continue to collect my transportation pins, but would have alot more pins or alot more money! I would also collect Frozen pins for my daughter!

I would be all over those Goofy pins...lol... No I think I would have the exact same pins I have now... Just extras of them to share with others... I would love to be able to wear my coolest pins and whenever someone said that's a neat pin just pull it off and give it to them knowing I have extras...

I actually have a group on PinPics that is compiled completely of pins I would totally want if they weren't so difficult to get! It's called "So Many Pretty Pins!" and you can see it here: http://gallery.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/group.cgi?group=6411

Beauty and the Beast is actually my favorite Disney movie of all time, and I have a soft spot for a lot of the other princess movies, too. But when I began collecting pins, I was scared off by all the hard pins and high prices, so I decided to focus on more attainable characters and movies. Since then, I've begun a small side collection of princess pins.

Mostly, I only get a BATB pin if it's meant to be. (I found a Belle mystery crest on a cast member's lanyard. I won my PODM in a contest on the forum. And I happened to be at Disneyland the day the BATB Window came out... out of sheer dumb luck!)

If some of the harder to get BATB pins were less difficult, and more affordable, my princess collection would probably be quite a bit bigger. :) But I'm really happy with it the way it is now.

If money were no object, I'd collect UP pins...it was my dad's favorite movie (not just DISNEY movie) and since he wasn't the biggest Disney fan (to say the least), that's a big deal. He passed away last year at 57 from a very aggressive cancer and I miss him more and more everyday...not to mention he always said my husband looks like a grown up Russell (and he truly does, right down to the hair and eyebrows)...but aside from OE UP pins, there aren't too many I can afford.

I would still collect the Fox and the Hound of course. ;) But i would also collect Gomes pins. They are all so amazingly beautiful, but so expensive!
