What's the deal with Star Wars 2 Vinylmation prices?

I was at the park this week and went to purchase some vinylmation pins and was shocked to see that the Star Wars 2 vinylmations were $8 more per package than the other vinylmation packs. It looked like these pins now have two posts instead of one (though I don't know why; they aren't big pins) but does that really justify the price hike? Is this something they do with all pins when they're first released, and then they drop the pin a while later, or do they really think adding a second post is worth an extra $8?

That's what I thought too. I don't know what's with the second post. I don't like it because they aren't that big to begin with nor are they rare. They're open edition pins. Vinyls at that.

Cause the price of the Star Wars Vinyls are 2-3 bucks more than any other blind box and I guess they felt the price needed to hit the pins too?
