Yeah but will someone explained to me what it is about tangled I dont get it!

It's one of my favorite Disney movies and I don't even understand why the pins are so crazy expensive. I understand why the movie is so popular but I cannot for the life of me figure out why multiple Tangled pins go for over a thousand dollars. The really expensive pins are all LE so that has something to do with it.

It's this generation's Lilo & Stitch for pin traders. But with a difference. Disney immediately capitalized on Stitch by having Stitch Sundays at Disneyland and a wide variety of styles, edition sizes and price points available from all over the world. Tangled has been very few pins, some extremely limited and all that money, instead of being dispersed in many directions is all going into a few specific pins.

Which is why I only collect the OE Tangled pins and I don't even collect all of those.
I own 6 tangled pins, the booster set from DLP, the OE circle one from DLP and the dreams one. The DLP ones I bought because I liked them and could buy them at cost. If I had to pay more I wouldn't have bought them. I've been watching a tangled pin auction on the bay recently a 14 pin lot, at least 5 were OE's went for £206 that did include the gondola though, so maybe that's what bumped the price.

Up pins are incredibly expensive... Though I really love them. The highest price that I have ever seen may be $500??
