I think they mentioned something like this would be happening both at DLR and WDW at Disney Pin Convention in Florida last year. I watched the stream and recall them talking about it. Since I had not heard anything, I was thinking this was cancelled. Nice to see they are going to do it.

Wasn't the Remy pin quest #1 during the Fall 2015 Food & Wine Festival? I believe the second Remy pin quest is coming this fall. If you still have the first map, there were twelve pins shown on the map. However, only six pins were part of the 2015 pin quest.
 
At the park today, guest services has no idea bout this, went to the pin stores, and nothing there either. Oh well, was looking forward to trying it out
