What's your Lanyard Look Like?

Hey everyone! :3

So I'm currently trying to decide what I want my lanyard to look like. I mainly collect Lion King, but was thinking about making Shere Khan and Kaa the main theme of my lanyard instead. I was also thinking about maybe making a Simba and Nala, Timon and Pumbaa, or Kovu (Even though I don't have nearly enough Kovu lol) lanyard. Here's what I have so far:



Any advice would be appreciated, I would also love to see what you guys like to wear to the parks, pin events, etc. Seeing other's lanyards is honestly one of my favorite parts of trading so PLEASE SHARE!

I don't wear a lanyard of either traders or collection pins to the parks as I'd never want to lose any of them if they fell off, but I do have two lanyards of collection duplicates hanging where I can see them so they always make me smile. One is just Mad T Party pins and one is a lanyard of pins that friends at the park have zapped to me. There's nothing fancy on there - just OA's and mystery pins - and all are duplicates of ones in my collection, but I decided they needed a special place to hang out together because they were zaps and therefore priceless.
 
That's wonderful, I never thought of a lanyard for zaps! I just made a section on my board for Lion King zaps, so I can remember my great second family.

I actually don't own any lanyards! I keep all of my pins on boards so I can look at them. I do love seeing other people's lanyards, though!
 
I think this is the best picture I have of my Hans lanyard. I really like Lanyards because they can start conversations in the parks and improve interactions with characters. Lindsay made mine, I'm working on some more but this is my only complete one right now.
 
I don't have a lanyard, but I have a neat binder I got on my trip to Disney Springs! It's not very full;; I have a very small collection right now.

This is probably my favorite to wear because PTDs are light, and I'm able to show off all the different movies and characters I collect, while still sticking to one theme.
 
I have multiple lanyards. No pictures on me, but I can take some tonight.

I don't wear pin lanyards to the parks usually, except for special occasions, since they tend to rub on the back of my neck after a whole day and I don't want to damage the pins if I go on a ride (I don't really worry about losing them, though, since I use locking backs). But I do usually wear one to a trading event, or a pin release if the pins are related.

My lanyards are:

Disney Springs is nice, though it's almost like a strip mall - I stayed pretty much on one end, where all the Disney stuff was.

general about me that has sparkly and rainbow Mickey, a Tinkerbell pin with my name on it, October Tink pin, I'm actually a mermaid, I'm kind of a big deal, and a few others.

I use locking backs for the about me lanyard since once in a blue moon I'll wear it, but I mostly use lanyards to hold smaller collections. Zero had to be moved off the lanyard since he is my main NBC collection so he gets pages in the book. RunDisney is full so I'll need a new one. Star Wars is also full though I'm not so hotnon that anymore.

Thank you, Ang! It's not much at all, but I like them so much. And I'm hoping to pick up more as time goes on, of course! And it IS. I love how it shows a dragon and a triceratops.
 
Hmm... I haven't taken too many deliberate photos of my lanyards... Let's see what I can dig up...



My lanyard of Jules Verne-based pins "returns" to Epcot's France pavilion. Includes Tokyo Disneysea's Mysterious Island, DLP's Discoveryland, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea​ the movie.

In this one, you can kinda' make out half of my 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea/Little Mermaid mash-up lanyard, as well as my wife's Beauty and the Beast lanyard.
 
Here's mine. Currently no pins on it as I only put traders on it when I go to the park ( hoping to go back soon).


Got a few keyrings on it. Doesn't make it too heavy as I'm use to carrying a camera round my neck anyway.

I only have a lanyard of traders, but forgot where I put them since it's been so long since I've been to the parks.
