Does anyone know how early/late I should get to any of the parks to pick up the princess carousel mystery pins at WDW? I wanna make sure I can get a few boxes or whatever they come in so I can zap/trade/sell! Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 
when the parks open, there probably won't be much of a line up, but that does not mean that they won't get released early either like park employees like to do with non limited edition pins

Thanks, I'm just worried that the first person to get there is going to completely clear them out. That's what happened with the Animation Art ones. Do you have any advice on a certain location to hit? The EPCOT trading center, DTD trading center, MK Frontierland traders?

I'm BEYOND afraid! I've already chewed my nails down so far they're bleeding, and we still have a month to go!!!
I really want Rapunzel and Belle (I have one Rapunzel pin, but I think I'll start being a closet collector :facepalm: wish me luck), and I really want to get a few Rapunzels for my sister and members on the forums. Gah! There goes another nail. I have to go get a bandaid now...
 
I know I would love the rapunzel!!! I want to buy a few boxes and hopefully get the one I need and trade/zap or keep if they are too beautiful to let go. If anyone gets an extra rapunzel and would be willing to trade it to me I would be forever grateful.

It's not that it's going to be that bad crowd wise but DLR (I can't speak for WDW) doesn't really have a good limit on the "Limited Release" boxes (they do but it's some ridiculously high number. Anyone feel free to correct me here). It isn't like LE pins where it's limit 2 per person. I've heard stories of people buying and walking out with a big bag or two of the Pixar mystery boxes. For this reason, I'm worried. It's relatively easy for only a few people to wipe out a store of Limited Release box sets in a couple of hours. Hard to say. I think the Pixar mystery boxes lasted about a day/a day and a half before they sold out but seeing as how these are the princesses and there's a new Rapunzel pin... Hard to guess how fast they will go.

Also, Lumpy, I wouldn't worry too much. WDW doesn't seem to be quite as bad as DLR is in terms of pin hoarders/sell out times. As long as you go sometime during the day, you probably should be able to get a couple of boxes I would think.
