Now for something completely different:

Where is the craziest place you have found a pin?

Mine was finding one in the fridge. :eek2:

Story: I once had a pin my hand to get a soda, the box of soda was sealed. I sat the pin down inside the fridge, opened the box, took the soda and left the pin.

Anyone else?

The bottom of my husbands shoe a week after our last visit to DLR, how he didn't notice is beyond me.....and it happened to be a pin he borrowed out of my collection to wear to the park that day... took us quite some time to figure out what it was after a week of stomping!

One time while I was cleaning out my dad's work truck, I found a pin stuck between the crevice of where the carpet meets the side of the car. I still can't figure out how it got there, since we never go to Disneyland in it.

I found one in the toilet! My son came and told me, "mom....there is a pin in the toilet" so I went in and sure enough there is stitch looking up at me from the bottom of the bowl! lucky for me there was nothing nasty in the water! lol...I am thinking it fell out of someones pocket....probably mine! lol

Well I'm missing a pin I was going to trade with SimbaNala . I know I did not trade it and God knows where it will turn up . Sorry Simba, if I get yours I'll promptly return it .

We found pin# 1250 from 1989, Minnie Mouse as Betsy Ross, pin in my grandmother's house in Ohio while cleaning it out after she passed away. We found it before we were pin traders but we have always been Disney fanatics so we kept it.

On my head. We're working on rearanging all our pins in our books and cork boards. It must have got knocked off the table and landed in my hat (which was knocked on the ground while clearing the table). I was taking our dog outside, and when I got back in, took off my hat I felt something hit my head. Chip and Dale decided to take a ride I guess.

first off ours or most likely ones we misplaced

Two in the bottom of my bare feet,
Dryer
Glove box of the van
under seat in the van
suitcase, backpack and camera bag.
In Bed.
on the lawn

Someone else's pins
found all over the ground at wdw (ground scores)
Thrift shops, garage sales.
Found on the floor at a publix grocery store 100 miles plus away from WDW.

In my bed and in my Sheltie's mouth. When I am working on my pins, Brodie will come up and "lip" a pin off of the table. He loves to eat the rubber backs!

I don't find the weird places. But, what sometimes happens to me is I will empty my suitcase, catalog my pins and notice one is missing. I will scour the suitcase, and nothing. I will use the suitcase for another trip, or two or three and then at some trip in the future I will pull out the suitcase and the pin will be inside. And not, tucked in a corner under the lining, but front and center, "how could I have missed it" center.

I've only found a pin on the floor at DL once over by Alice in Wonderland. But I did find some pins for sale in an antique fair in Monterey, Ca. Though I will say I find pin backs EVERYWHERE!!!!!!

I sometimes reuse old envelopes from sales/trades....imagine my surprise to find an old envelope from over a year ago in the recycle pile -with a Stitch LE 100 still inside!!

I was moving into a new apartment and found a treasure trove. Shoe box full of old jumbo pins and LE's that I had "put away" to trade later and totally forgot about. Was so happy to find the LE 150 Pirates Fountain of Youth map in there.

I found one of my old Stitch pins in a GameCube game case while I was inspecting them for sale. It was my brother and he put in there 3 years ago. He told me
