I hate having to go to Safari on my iPad and having to search on the browser. I just feel if there was an app it would make life easier as a pin trader.
I don't think that's the case because Robert Iger who is the President and CEO of Disney is a board member of Apple. I can't imagine there being that much conflict in that case but you brought up an excellent point
Disney doesn't own Pinpics. It's privately owned. This topic has been touched and unless Disney is involved, no App.
+ you make apps to make money. An average App cost .99. Not a lot of members to make up the cost of building and maintaining an App. Yes there are ads but constant updated and members can't add to the site only it's creator. So no comments, uploading new pins, ect. Take Forum Runner. You can do a lot but a lot of restrictions on uploading, having to reset passwords, many link are dead if the original thread properties are not done correct.
So using Safari is the best use for Pinpics. For now.
You can make 12 bookmarks in a group. An example you may make?
Actually most free apps are the highest grossing from in app purchases to ads that are placed that the owner is paid for.
And Iger being on the board has no influence into what others can do. Just because a Disney CEO is an Apple board member doesn't mean they can circumvent other rules. It all comes down to what the owners of the website want to create and what the App Store allows to be posted.
Pinpics could make a free app and make a ton of money off it if it contains ads that people view and click on.
