Oh snap! Thanks so much! (My wallet isn't going to be too happy...but I am! lol)


Edit Update: Went to purchase the pins, and when they asked for my sign in, I kept getting a message that my username/password wasn't right (and I kept double checking I input my info correctly)?! So I left the checkout page, then just used the "sign in" button, and it worked fine...Has anyone else had this problem since the new layout? Thank you disneystore.com for stressing me out. lol (But thanks again Steve - you are AWESOME. I would have hated missing out on these :))

I'm kind of disappointed. I'm not a big fan of either of those sets. I don't collect Jumbo pins to start, but the Sugar Rush set could have been so nice! I kind of wish they made all of them in their karts as opposed to just their faces :( Oh well, I'm probably gonna opt on on these pins this time around.

Does anyone think they'll ever make a WIR pin with characters from actual video games (i.e. Sonic, Bowser, Zangief, etc.)?

I doubt it. :-/ It's pretty amazing they were able to acquire the licensing to so many characters to begin with, but I doubt it extended to any type of merchandise. But who knows...with Wreck-It Ralph appearing in the Sonic game next month, I guess you never know!

Yes, there are several problems with the new site - I had problems with recalling stored credit card information - had to keep typing in the information each time :(
It's also easy to miss the discount codes on the initial checkout screen and you can't go back when you continue to the next screen. Your have to go back to shopping and enter checkout from a product page to start over again.
I always used the login button and sign in before doing anything, so I don't know about any login at checkout problems.
 
The jumbo is ok but it pisses me off that disney has only cleared like 3 images of Ralph for pins so we all get the same pin of him angry smashing bricks from every pin selling store but if you watch the movie he doesn't want to be that guy anymore. Terrible choice of artwork. 1 place with that pin, ok. ALL places with that pin and it kinda makes me rethink about being a completionist. Sugar Rush set is lame, the one of Vanellopee in her cart is almost exactly like DSF but DSF is smaller and has the sprial lolipop in the back. DLRP, DSF, DS.com, and DLR/WDW all have the same basic Ralph pin now. Uber lame.

I completely agree. The DSF Vanellope and Taffyta look much better anyways in my opinion, and I wouldn't be shocked if they do eventually release a mystery pack with all the Sugar Rush people in their karts, in which case these small ones won't interest me anymore. As for Ralph, I'm sure they'll license more of him soon, I mean, they did have him in Hero's Duty outfit in the mystery set.
 
Ok I am a bit disappointed in these - I love the jumbo, but the sugar rush set - boooo I really don't like pins of characters heads only . . . . . plus the "other" girls in the movie aren't even important! :0( In fact after seeing the movie the only one of their names I knew was Taffyta. I really wish they all could have been in their carts - or they all do these cute little poses when their characters are announced - I wish they could have been made to look like that. I also really hope that they do the other video game character in pin form. But I am not holding my breath for that one. But there are a lot of other characters they could do - like the people who live in the building with Felix. Sometimes I wonder if the people who make the pins have ever actually seen the movie! I just really hope they start coming out with better/different poses for the pins. I could list tons I would like to see - but I don't want to spoil the movie for u guys!
 
i like this jumbo because its pixelated like old school video games. :) I am trying not to jump the gun on all these wreck it ralph pins until I've seen the movie, but I looooove video games (secret nerd) so I have a feeling I will like it a lot and will want to collect them all! ha!

Despite my conscience telling me otherwise, I got the Sugar Rush set! xD I'm super excited about these pins and I just love them. Hopefully Ralph will still be available when I get my next paycheck.
 
:) Love the jumbo, but can't get too carried away over the Sugar Rush stuff without having seen the film. I think those characters look adorable, but that's a lot of money the shell out for characters that I know so little about. :p Still refuse to be a completist.

:bigthumb: I hope you're talking about mine, because I LOVE it!! It's already getting quite full with all my WiR pins so far. I plan on putting a photo up in the pin showroom later... :D
