But in this sense didnt the Owner (If Lenny is or not) just tell another member of the forum to grow a pair? That seems very hostile for such a nice and 100% genuine person. And also, you have a bias opinion of Pinpics being 100% legit as I got from your post you MAY work for them.

In my opinion everyone has the right to defend themselves and in this case I don't think many people would have reacted any differently. And just to be clear, I don't "work" for anyone. Everyone knows I volunteer and write blogs about my favorite place :) WDW <3 this is a hobby, and people need to remember to be mindfull of what is said. People have feelings and do not deserve to be bullied. That is the only point I have been trying to get across... So lets all go back to the topic on this thread as mentioned above so perfectly by ElysionsPrincess <3

**highfive** Good luck, Melissa!! <3 I hope one of us gets her!!

Thanks Love! I hope so too! :) ::high fives back:: I'm not gonna lie.... if I somehow win the Rapunzel R/C.... I'll trade the person who wins the marquee XDDDDD I'd honestly rather have the marquee than the R/C, but that's just my taste/opinion....

Everyone does have a right to defend themselves.. But "grow a pair" is not defending.. its sh*t talking.

This has been my hobby for over 9 years now and I do like to know what direction is is taking. I dont have an opinion of Lansam positive or negative. Dont think I am trying to bash anyone.

Hey Josh of My D-Pins,

Want to play Russian Roulette? Would you bet your shop that those pins were mine? How about your goodwill with the community that if I showed you the auction forms you won't find my name anywhere and you could speak to all the bidders to confirm only they bid?
Willing to put a chunk of cash down that money from those sales didn't go to a local charity, so even if I did bid it would have been for a good cause?
How about having a pair and tell these fine folks who told you? Did you demand proof or even shoot me a PM to ask me about it?

I didn't think so.

Lenny

Hey, Lenny,

Thanks for your concern about my lower anatomy; I am happy to report that they are well intact and fully functional. ;)

DPF Members,

I apologize if any of you feel uncomfortable or offended, as this thread has overwhelmingly evolved. The only reason why the My-D Pins staff and I are even concerned about this thread is because customers have approached us and informed us at the store a couple of days after the silent auction PinPics hosted that Lenny had been shill bidding on the pins that were auctioned off. We were not even going to address that specific concern, but then we found out about this ILLEGAL RAFFLE that PinPics is planning on conducting at this year’s WonderCon. Yes, the raffle is illegal because it’s considered a lottery in CA when you pay for a chance to win ANYTHING.

Our concern simply boils down to this: If the shill bidding took place, and this type of unethical action was condoned at the auction, what’s to prevent an unethical action to sway the outcome of this upcoming raffle as well, and especially with so much more at stake to fellow pin traders?

As you can see by our post count, we rarely post anything on the forums, much less anything controversial. But this is a genuine concern we have on behalf of not only ourselves, but on behalf of others in the pin community and our customers, and only posted on this thread to voice those concerns...

Earlier today when I got on, everything was sunshine and rainbows. I get on now and WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?

I do love the free speech that is going on, but I'm under the conception that this can all easily be remedied after Lenny posts the papers for this raffle. If no papers appear then I would stay on the fence and not participate, but I think Lenny cares very much about this raffle and wants it to succeed as do I think everyone, who doesn't want to give Pinpics the benefit of the doubt, we all use it ^_^ Once those papers are posted though (if they are) then we can easily see it's legit!

Ahhhh
You guys, look!
Wondercon is apparently hosting a Pinpics pannel, and they are raffling off R/C Rapunzel, AND the Marquee. You don't have to attend the con to get the R/C Rapunzel, from what I understand, but you DO need to be there for the Marquee. I thought I would share here before the spots all ran out!

http://www.pinpics.com/blog/pinpics-blog/wondercon-raffle

Good luck everyone! <3 I know this is a grail for many, MANY people!

200 Spots Available $10 per piece. There ARE consolation prizes (At least this is what I'm gathering lol)
Numbers ALREADY REQUESTED by members here (not necessarily taken by them, outside sources may have gotten there first, awaiting confirmation e-mails from Anthony).

Numbers Requested, Confirmed, and Paid for:
10, 16, 22, 29, 86

edit: pinpics has now added additional costs for domestic and international shipping. They also have their own running list so please check there for available numbers!

Thanks for sharing with us, I would have missed out!

What pin pics must think of our forum! Shame, a real Shame! For mature adults it certainly seems like high school drama.
So Lenny got mad and shot back, well good for him. Anyone of you would have done the same in his situation.

I walk into this place. This place they call Wondercon. I see a booth.
It belongs to the big bosses of pinpics. There sat their big boss, Lenny.
Big cigar in his mouth with 20 of those monsters. The reveal conceal Rapunzel
He placed in his pockets. Missing. He sticks hi hand in a pot of numbers.
A number is called. MyDPins is called a the winner.
Is this a conspiracy? Who has done this. A long lost alliance.
An angry mob rushes in to steal the marquee. But it's gone.
The big boss is gone too....

But where? Stay tuned

I completely agree. If someone was bashing something you fully stood behind, would anyone not feel offended. I think that is why we should all give Lenny the benefit of the doubt. HOWEVER, that still doesn't deny that there is the possibility that it could be fake (there is the possibility that anything can be fake so don't take any offense to this) which is why we should definitely let Lenny provide a rebuttal by posting the papers that officiates it as an official raffle through CA, after that I don't think anyone could rebuttal that unless we start preaching photoshop conspiracy theories which I think is really reaching for evidence haha xD

Idk what's going on here, but I myself was going to play; however, since I can't participate for the marquee I passed on it. I would like an equal opportunity at both pieces. The R/C Rapunzel is definitely one of my ultimate grails, but I'm not too excited about spending money on slots for pins I don't know what I'll be getting. I think a picture of the possible prizes is essential. Let people decide based on prizes if they'd like to join.

What if the R/C Rapunzel is the only pin in the raffle that someone wants? Than they may be spending money on something they might not be interested in unless they win the main prize. I would much rather save my money and spend it on a pin I know I want. I can also inquire as to condition, authenticity and whether or not it comes on its card (which is unimportant to some, but quite important for me).

I also think that everyone taking sides is basically contributing to some fashion of bullying as well. Everyone is entitled to an opinion as long as its within good taste and said respectfully. Not everyone will agree just like not everyone will win a grail. You get over it and move on. I think each and every person here is fully capable of defending themself so let them do so if they deem it necessary.

To be quite honest, I'm sick and tired of these "black list" and "clique" notions. I pray and hope that such accusation are not true because than I would question the ethical standards of both PinPics and DPF. When I see simply concerns and questions turn into arguments and accusations like in this thread its shocking to me. Can't we all just get along?

The only thing with that smell is the stench of lalalanas
Anger towards the famous monster.
