New Pins Coming On-line!....MYSTERY!

I noticed the Inside Out pins too but were gone after I checked out. Why are they so much? Won't they be in the parks once the movie comes out, or are they LE? Also, did anyone noticed the "you may like these other Star Wars items" after purchasing the parkpack? Made me think the Frozen rumor was a rouse and these may be promo Force Awakens pins instead. Probably too far fetched, but I still have (a new) hope.

That's funny because I remember when I checked out it showed me frozen stuff. Could have been because I bought some frozen pins at the same time. I would love it if they are Star Wars pins, but my wife rather have them be frozen pins. Lol. Either we will be happy. :)

That moment when you thought you had to get up Thursday night at 12am to order but in fact 12am on Thursday is technically Wednesday night.

:cry::cry::cry::cry:

So sad I didn't get my hands on one.

I'm a little shocked at the ebay prices... Even if it ends up being a Frozen pin would a LE 500 that's sort of a LE 2000 really be worth 100+ bucks? There are resellers on FB and ebay that somehow got a bunch of boxes. They better hope they can gouge some people quick because something tells me no one will pay that much once we see the pins. Weren't we all just saying that even $40 was a lot to pay when you don't know what you're getting? Or was that just to reduce the hype?

i think it is a lot to spend on a mystery, especially if you buy two. I don't think people were trying to reduce the hype. Too many pin traders (those that do not live near a park) are excited for the opportunity to buy LE pins at cost. If you make consistent trips to the parks or live near them this does not feel like a good option. $40 * 12 = $480, if you buy two $960. That is a lot of money over a year. I think several of us will buy these here and there. especially if they prove to be good traders.

Ebay prices fluctuate a lot. I am in the process of completing my nightmare in disneyland mystery set. After the event last June, one of the chasers LE 350 went for over $50, I bought the same pin on Sunday (it arrived yesterday ) for $16.75. I hope those that did not buy it will be patient.

Exactly the same situation for me!!! I did not see the notice there when I ordered either...called this morning for the same reason as you Li, and was told the EXACT same thing?!? :dunno: It really makes no sense to me...if the product is not available, why was it put up for sale???

Because they already made the announcement about it being available for sale on 5/14. What they should have said was PRE-ORDER on the thing, like they do for dolls.

Good news is you will be the first to get it when available. Part of the fun is the anticipation. And no, I'm not a CM

Either there are 11 really impatient people on ebay, or multiple people are trying to jack up the prices for these. Seriously, something seems fishy that almost a dozen people are already willing to pay over $100 for a mystery. I think a fair price for these would be around $55. I'm just happy my CM discount applied and I only paid $34 for it.

The way people are handling these pins kinda makes me sick.

They don't even know what's in it and people are saying they have "reliable sources" telling them it's something Frozen.

This is ridiculous.

Also, weren't these sets meant to get people into pin trading or to give regular people some pins to trade at the park? That's not going to happen when they release the entire set at one announced time. If you really wanted to market it like that they should be released in smaller quantities at UNANNOUNCED times throughout the month - and not only at midnight Pacific Time.

It's not about pin trading anymore. It's all about what I can trade a pin from original retail to upgrade its value with each trade until that single original pin is worth a $$ Grail. My single Park Pack LE 500 is worth at cost $45. Now to use that possible trader to upgrade to a "better" pin until it's worth 3-5 times its orignal cost. Then sell it for cash to buy the pin I want because I never have the right pin to trade.

Sis hasn't received hers yet and she ordered right around 12:30 a.m. Pacific Time, when it didn't say anything about backordered. However, when she called DS the next morning to talk about the other part of her order, the cast member said the park pack was on back order.

It's on the Disney Parks blog as Frozen.

I thought it was the "Disney Pins Blog" that said they had heard it was Frozen, I never saw it on the official Disney Parks blog.

Darn, I missed the first one! I was really looking forward to this, but I forgot all about it!

So there is only a limited supply? I am a bit confused by the replies on here; are you saying that everyone can buy them on the first Thursday at midnight, and if you don't get one of the "available" ones, you will be put on back-order for the same thing (I imagine a different mystery LE)? When did they officially become "sold out" and no longer able to be back-ordered?

Guess I am wondering if this will wind up being just another race where you have to refresh and stay up late for it, or if you can get an order in no matter what, as long as it's ordered on that particular day, by a particular cut-off time?

Would prefer the latter method, as then nobody would have to worry about it.
