It’s funny how sometimes really beautiful, creative pins get overlooked sometimes because they aren’t a popular character or from a hyped up release. Here’s your chance to give those overlooked pins some love. This is totally subjective and for fun’s sake, but post a photo of a pin in your collection that deserves to be more popular and sought after.

For my submission, I’m going to choose my favorite pin in my collection, the ACME Tangled Dancing Jumbo. Every single detail on this pin is exquisite and the colors are so vibrant. It’s big and heavy and just an overall quality pin. I’m shocked that there’s still one available for $150 because this seems like a grail-worthy pin. Maybe in a few years it will skyrocket in price but for now I’m so grateful I own it :)

Your turn! Post those undervalued pins that you treasure the most (p.s. pins posted DO NOT have to be LE or high priced. This is all subjective and I’ve seen rack pins more beautiful than the most expensive LE)

Ooooo . . . fun thread! Here are three of my very pins for sheer beauty. Only the Enchanted Objects one is a picture of my actual pin (the other two are from PTDB). And I know these are going to be funny choices for favorites, but when you hold these in real life, they really are amazing.

First, there's last year's OE Polynesian Resort pin featuring Minnie as she appears in the Ku'u Lei Melody short cartoon. This is a beautiful pin-on-pin design and just so well executed. I didn't expect to like it so well, even though this is my favorite appearance ever of Minnie Mouse! But it's a lovely pin, and pictures don't do justice to the color tones or feel of the pin itself.

Next, there's the amazing HKDL Mosaic Mystery Tin Minnie. This is a truly lovely pin. I love how it looks, the colors and the feel of the pin. I just have to admire it every time I pass the pin board in the hallway.

And lastly, the new Enchanted Objects "Disney Family" pin. It's so much nicer than I expected, and I'm just crazy about the art on this new set. Whoever the artist is, I think they are totally underrated . . . they should make a lot more pins! The colors in this picture are not very good. They're really warmer than this, but I just couldn't get the lighting right.

I agree with both pins being very pretty and underrated. The Dancing Rapunzel was my sister’s grail for about two years until I found it for her last month. PS if you look hard enough you can find it and trade (or buy) it without it costing you an arm or leg.

Totally agree! Patience really does pay off in this hobby and if you wait it out it will usually pop up at a reasonable price (this may take months or years or decades but it never fails!). Huge congrats on your sisters grail! Do you have the Beauty and the Beast from that set?!

I’d need to check. The Ariel and Eric one is really nice too.

@slbrabham Yes!!! The Beauty and the Beast/Ariel and Eric are fantastic and I own those two. I REALLY wish we could have gotten a full Princess set from that release. I’d have given them all my money for a Tiana/Naveen & Aladdin/Jasmine.
