What does everyone use in their pin books?
I’ve tried cork and corrugated plastic it worked for the time being but now I want something else.
The only thing I can think of are the Kraken pages but of course I’m not buying a bunch of those to put in the Disneyland pin book pages.

Let me know your ideas!

I’ve only used 2 types and both are Disney products. 100 Years of Dreams pin bag I currently use, and a small WDI Haunted Mansion Hitchhiking ghosts bag.

I highly recommend the WDI pin bag, good quality pages, thick and protective to the pins. Has a net on the back to hold whatever card backs, pin backs, extra pins. I liked that it was a crossbody so I could have my hands free but also has a handle if you want to hold it. It was a smaller bag but fit for me because I usually only carried about 50 traders at most. I would definitely look for a WDI pin bag from the secondary market or WDI store via cast access, pop ups, events.

Just my personal choice.

Do you have a photo of the bag you are talking about? Also I have a pin bag but I don’t like to use the pin backs so I take them off and poke them through the page and into the insert I put inside the page. This way the pins seem to be more snug into the page

Interesting! And the duct tape doesn’t ruin the pin posts?
No... Not that I have noted... But sometimes I miss things that are noted by others. I created this set up 4+ years ago and to be honest... I cannot remember the before, but this method has worked well for me.

I no longer have the bag but this is the one.

I have multiple pin bags. The ones from Disney with the pages that don't show the holes from when you poke. The ones that show the holes when you poke, 3-ring binders + baseball card sleeves, and lots more.

I do have a Kraken bag that I won (took them 6 months after I won to ship) that I haven't started using yet. Mainly, because it seems too small to hold my grails so now I have to figure out what to put in there instead. Maybe half-grails? Those that haven't yet achieved grail status but are on their way there?

Yes, their shipping.. gosh not thrilling at all and the production excuse has to go when it’s already out of production. But it’s pretty nice. The pages are smaller and I’m afraid of damaging the book if I took it everywhere so I keep it home with my keeps.

Exactly. fortunately, they are in So Cal so I can get pages from them at their pin events

I just found this thread as I had the same question for inserts in the old Disney pin books! Got tired of floppy pages and I remembered someone at a pin event had stuffed theirs with something. Another option I realized is the 10mm EVA foam I use as boards, I get it from Joann. Seems to work well except you just need to be careful with big heavy marquees / I Wish size pins when you turn the page.

Edit: they're also on sale right now!

I hope there is a March madness bracket for the half-grails and the winner moves up to GRAIL status.

Such a strong consensus! I'm going to try Coroplast next time.
cheap, and you can find large sheets at Home Depot/Lowes that can easily be cut with a razor and a straight edge to the size you need for your pages

i've been experimenting with laser cutting them in shapes for possible pin display projects/products :p
