Its a list (or 5 lists?) of pins, filled out by the registered guest.

RSP List 1:
- 39 spots (one spot for each pin in the catalog)
- registrant fills out as many spots as needed for the pins they want.
- registrant puts pins in any order on the RSP.
- each pin registrant wants is only listed once (1X).

RSP List 2 (if registrant wants a second pin):
- 39 spots (one spot for each pin in the catalog)
- registrant fills out as many spots as needed for the pins they want a 2nd/duplicate pin of.
- registrant puts pins in any order on the RSP.
- each pin registrant wants is only listed once (1X).

RSP List 3 (for 3rd pin):
- 39 spots (one spot for each pin in the catalog)
- registrant fills out as many spots as needed for the pins they want a 3rd/duplicate pin of.
- registrant puts pins in any order on the RSP.
- each pin registrant wants is only listed once (1X).

RSP List 4:
- 3 spots
- Only for additional mystery boxes.
- each pin registrant wants is only listed once (1X).

RSP List 4:
- 3 spots
- Only for additional mystery boxes.
- each pin registrant wants is only listed once (1X).

WDW events then starts with RSP List 1, spot 1 and awards pins in a lottery fashion.
ex: if an LE 500 pin is listed for 200 registrants in spot 1, all will get it.
ex: for same LE 500 if 200 more want the pin in List 1, spot 2, all will get it (only 400 requested of the 500 available at this point)
ex: for same LE 500 if 150 more registrants want the pin in List 1, spot 3, 150 registrants will be randomized, lottery style for the last 100 available pins.
ex: for same LE 500 pin... pin is sold out after List 1, spot 3 and no later RSP requests will be filled.

Most popular pins are gone/sold out somewhere in the RSP List 1. Meaning duplicate pins are not usually available for awarding registrants in RSP List 2.

Not so popular pins... you will easily get 2 and probably could get 3 in the RSP (if registrant adds the pin to each of the 3 lists). Three would be the max for the RSP. Except for mystery boxes which would be 5 max of each.

There are a few other details (VIP guests get priority, returned pins are offered to next in line as logistically possible, etc.) but the above is the rough outline of an event RSP...

Any leftovers are sold at the event.

You actually do the full purchase before the event. When they finish the rsp they tell you what you received. You the. Have a couple of days to cancel any of the pins before they charge your credit card. At the event is only the pickup. And returns if needed.
 
I have updated the lists above with what was awarded (look for this: (awarded))

I will work on invoices this weekend, but if you determine you are not interested before I spend time on the invoices... please post below and note what you are no longer interested in buying.
 
Oh... and I have been awarded additional pins every year (when people remove them from their RSP... if there is time the event people will offer the pin to the next in line in the RSP process.) If I am awarded any additional pins for DPF members I will update with an orange flag, so everyone knows its a late addition. Like this: (awarded)
 
Updated to here. There are 3 pins available now which were awarded in my RSP. Post if anyone is interested in them.
 
Pin Messages (aka invoices) have been sent for the pins awarded in my RSP for DPF members. Payment is due by 28Aug.

I have added you to the only one's of these that MIGHT come available (its pretty late in the RSP game). I need to close everything out by 28Aug, so please keep an eye on this thread (between now and 28Aug) if either of those pins become available for you.

At this time the only pins unclaimed are these:
