Some people live close to Disneyland, others to Walt Disney World (whether or not they visit regularly). Some people travel to Disneyland, Walt Disney World, or an International location regularly. Some people don't live close to a park, but can visit regularly. Some people don't live close to a park, can't visit regularly, but still love to collect Disney pins. Who are you?

Since I was a baby, I’ve been going to Disneyland. I love being an annual passholder for Disneyland even though I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I say Disneyland is my home, and Walt Disney World is my favorite vacation spot. I love WDW…so much to do. I try to visit annually or at least every other year. I’ve also been fortunate to have been to Disneyland Paris a couple times. J’aime DLP aussi. I’m ready for Disney Asia!

I'm also in NorCal and call Disneyland home base, going a few times a year is something my mom and I do together. I wish I had been into Disney pin collecting back when I lived in LA over 10 years ago though! Would have been easy to be a pass holder and go to events.

I’ve been to WDW more (maybe 5 or 6 full trips and another couple one-day visits on the way elsewhere) than DLR (once) and never been to any other parks. I have never been local to any having lived in Kansas, Texas, and Virginia.

At this point, if anything, I would consider my “home park” to be Disney Cruise Line. I love the cruises. They are so much more relaxing than the parks but still magical. The couple one-day visits to WDW have been before cruises leaving from Canaveral. I went on my first Disney Cruise in 2018, have done 5 so far including getting married on one, and have an unbelievable 3 booked for 2025!

Definitely not local but managed to get to WDW over a dozen times (plus pin events). And my love of/start with pins started on one of those trips. Got across the country to DLR probably 3 or so times (plus D23s). Working on checking off the Internationals. Have Tokyo and Shanghai so far.

I am consider my 'home' resort to be Disneyland... one reason, non-stop flights to LAX. Orlando requires a connection. But also because of close relatives (parents) living an hour away from Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland local.
I remember our parents getting us annual passes when we were young, maybe 5 or 6 years old. That's when they did the instant photo and then laminated the photo onto a card and you signed the back of the card before it was laminated. I'm pretty sure I still have that AP somewhere :)

My response is similar to @collycon. I live in Central Massachusetts. My family and I have DVC and make it to our home resort of Saratoga Springs - WDW once or twice a year. We have been to Disneyland once and ventured to DLP for the 30th anniversary. We have been fortunate to have sailed on three DCL cruises. Two more parks to go to have made it to all of the locations!

Most Utahns (and there are a LOT of Disney fans here) call DL their home park, and I did have a Magic Key there at one point, but I feel like WDW is my home park. It was my first Disney experience, and we went there many times before I ever made it to DL, on my 16th birthday. I've been a Passholder at WDW off and on over the years, and unexpectedly ended up buying another pass just the other day that I'll be activating at the end of the month.

Thanks to the 20 people who have already voted!

I thought I would expand on my answer, beyond what I already said. As a West Coaster, Disneyland used to be my home park. We lived in AZ for 5 years, and being able to drive to Disneyland in 7 hours, and then play in the park for several hours was amazing. But when my parents moved to WDW in 2005, it became cheaper just to go there. Free lodging and free tickets (my Mom was a CM) and all. My Dad is in good health, so we continue to do WDW parks when we visit, but humans don't live forever. When he has to leave FL, or is no longer living I expect Disneyland will become my home again.

I have also visited HKDL in 2018, Tokyo Disneyland in 2018 and last October, and Disneyland Paris in December 2023. Only Shanghai left to go! I would love to be able to visit Tokyo regularly enough to consider it a home park! That would probably require us to move back to the Seattle area where I could stalk cheap flights that just don't come up as often in Denver.

Disneyland. I can remember all of the fun times I had as a kid, like running through the parking lot with my sister when we'd close the park with our parents ( Back when you were able to park just steps away from the ticket booths!) or the many parades promoting the latest Disney films (Hercules and Mulan especially), and when Disneyland would host Mickey's Halloween Treat with the gigantic inflatable Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent at the front gate (I think they were still promoting Fantasmic). Disneyland will always be home to me.

I was born and raised in Southern California, so Disneyland is my home. Growing up, I went about once a year.

About ten years ago, my best friend and I got APs for a few years and started going about once a month.

About five years ago, I stopped going completely because of Covid, the crowds, and also the prices going forever up.

I’m thinking of visiting again one day for my 40th birthday this year.

I'm a 3-hour flight from WDW. We have AP's and usually visit twice a year, for a total of about 3 to 3 1/2 weeks. We spent a few days at DL in 2012 and 1 day at the Paris parks about 10 years ago. We're hoping to eventually get to the parks in Japan and China 🤞
