I'm here at WDW and went to Hollywood Studios to get the AP magnet. I stopped in the Darkroom fully expecting these pins to be sold out but they had plenty. I got 2 bags and no dupes! They are adorable in person! Later in the day hopped to Animal Kingdom and noticed they had plenty too.

I think I might actually cave and try and collect this set, it's got a little of everything I love lol I kind of wish they'd either done all characters or no characters, the inclusion of pluto and figaro in the midst of all the other random cats and dogs is a little odd. I do love seeing all the breeds and costumes though!

I think it does make sense - all the pins are Disney themed. Most of them is because the costume is Disney specific, but those two have 'generic' Halloween costumes worn by Disney characters instead.

cannot believe there's a precious little Siamese in there that isn't Si or Am. I am trying for her when I go tonight!

Disney has discontinued the use of Si and Am, which as a Siamese cat lover, makes me sad. I get why, but I like the kitties lol ! So it is nice to see them use a different Siamese.

When I was at MK yesterday, they had buckets of these pouches behind the counter.

Few other things about the set!

— According to the Disney Store, the Tower of Terror dog is the Jailer Dog from Pirates.

— I'm also not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but all of these pouches have preset selections. The Opera Ghost Cat and the Carousel Cat appear to be interchangeable in the bag they come in, to account for that 16th pin.

I swear up and down the five pin pouches used to be mixed up and not THIS bad. @ Disney, let me mix up ur pins for you, I'll do it for free.

I had such a rough experience trying to swap in person that I couldn't help but laugh about it. I hung out by the counter at DAK with them visible in my pinfolio and if someone bought them I no pressure let them know I was trading extras if they were looking for something specific. Nobody took me up on it, but I got about four separate people to buy bags of them because they didn't know they existed until they spotted them in my pinfolio. 😂 I should've gotten commission for how many I got sold. But even though people wanted specific pins of my extras nobody opened them after buying them to see if they got them. 😭
 
I’m really hoping it was a weird fluke with these bags because I agree it’s never been like this before. People either got insanely lucky or have a ton of dupes of the same pin.

Thank goodness @Pidge swapped our bags around so we could get the pins we wanted or I would still be trying to complete my set!

Did you manage to complete your set in the arcade?

I did! You got me the last one I needed! I don't have Pluto but I don't really need him because I'm not in love with his design. Very happy to get all of them with just the three bags. I was so worried it would be too hard to swap them.
