I like this thread.... helps sum of us seem less crazy....lol... even if we are all pin-a-holics......turth b told... i like it because i know have sum very high goals to meet... we have abot 70-100 mayb.... and thats 4 of us... but we want more...more.... more... must have pins... :)

I'm in a similar boat....maybe the dingy to your boat! :lol: I have somewhere between 2,500 and 3,000 pins when you count duplicates and almost 800 of them are of or have to do with Stitch. :stitch:

Another fun fact -there are 937 pins that you and I both have listed as owened!!! Mostly :stitch:!

Haha! Even if we didn't get it from DBZ, it's all over the internet. And anyone who's seen YGO: the Abridged Series would get it...he used it at the end of one of the episodes. :)

622 in my Traders...but I have a lot of doubles of those

My guess would be around 3,000
 
This is in one of my closets. I also have 5 pin bags, and a bunch in frames on the walls. I'm working on getting even more framed.

Oh and from a numbers comparison, my collection has been collected since the start of pin trading, which is 12 years now. So it works out to about 550 per year. So there's that to consider too. I think there are some people on DPF who may have smaller collections, but could rival the "number per year." They just haven't been collecting long enough to reach those multi-thousand thresholds yet. :)
 
WOW!! I cant belive the number some of you have!!! and I thought i had a lot nearing the 100 mark!!! lol (and most of that has only happened snice ive been on this fourm!!! lol)
 
i have about 800 chip dale pins in my collection. then traders on top of that. never thought i would have this many chip dale pins.
 
I have about 230 :)
doesnt seem like that many when I flick through my pin book.
Id say about 75% is Stitch. I want to try and get away from collecting him though. And try something new :)

That's true.I've only really been collecting for 15 months. In 2009 we took an overnight trip to DLR and bought a few pins as to frame for the trip. 2010 we did a few for memories then my girls got into the trading and visiting the store and looking at lanyards got me hooked.

With one girl still heavily into pins I'm sure our collection will grow steadily.
 
We have around 5000. We started collecting in 2000. Didn't really start trading till 2005. That's when the trouble started, had to get 2 of each pin, 1 to keep 1 to trade. Great hobby for our whole family, and the wonderful people we've met from all over the world. PRICELESS!
 
Wow. I am shocked at some of the numbers! We've been collecting since 2000. PinPics shows I have about 1500, but I'd guess it's probably off by about 100 or so. I'd guess most are princesses and mickey & minnies. I've counted my DH's meager collection in this number too.

My DS is a huge Donald collector, also collecting since 2000. He doesn't bother putting his collection in Pin Pics but he estimates he has about 1000 pins.

And then I'd guess my daughter probably has about 200, mostly princesses, some Stitch.

So maybe we have about 3000 altogether - but that's for four people (two serious traders, and two casual traders). We have some framed sets, about eight cork boards, and the rest in keeper books.

I'd estimate that we have about 500 traders total among all of us.

I guess that put's us in the middle category among other here.
