The Next UK Pin Is.... BRAVE! <3

as far as I know you can only buy them online, but please ddon't quote me, but the last I heard , pins were no longer available in the Disney UK Stores .

Whether or not pins are still available in UK stores, the UK website does say "online exclusive" for this particular pin.

I'll certainly be trying to get a couple of these for trading. I don't arrange pre-trades though as I work and might not be available to go online for a 9:00am release and in case they do sell out.

Looking for a ore trade (duh!) check my traders. This looks much better than the Paris pins:). Why do they keep using same artwork for every brave pin though??? Can we have a Eleanor bear pin please???

I haven't seen pins in Disney Stores for ages, so I'm pretty sure you're right.

They stopped selling pins in store a couple of months ago I will hopefully be getting one of these pins for trade but I'm going to wait until I've got it in hand before setting up a trade I wouldn't want to let anyone down

I had a thought, and I wondered if you all could give me advice. I was thinking of asking one of my (non-pin-collecting) UK friends if I can purchase the pins and have them shipped to my friend's house, and then have my friend send the package on to me.

Will the disneystore.co.uk website let me do this? I know they won't ship to a US address, but if the *billing* address is a US address (even if paying via paypal), can I purchase from their site? Does anyone know? I can't find anything in their terms of service about it.

Just wanted to let everyone know, I heard back from Guest Services on this. They said:
Dear Guest,

Thank you for your email,

If you would like to place your order, and select the UK as your shipping address, you are able to select the US as your billing address,

I hope this helps, but should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us,

So if you are in the US and have a UK friend who's willing to take delivery of a package and forward it to you, you can make the purchase yourself.

I managed to get this pin.
So happy! I hope it's as pretty in real life as it is online

...so apparently Guest Services was wrong. :(

I think they thought it would work; when I couldn't enter US because of the pulldown menu, they told me via email to just enter UK and the rest of my US billing address, and then email them after the fact to correct the billing address. Trouble is, if your billing address doesn't exactly match what's on file with your credit card or bank (if using paypal) then it's declined. So I never could finalize the order.

My friend in the UK offered to place the order for me, since I could paypal him the money and he could just turn around and pay with that paypal balance. So I still got my order, but so much for my bright idea. :/

At least now we know...

Vixy,
I have a friend in Sweden and I ordered a pin set from DS UK with my US cc and sent it to his address before. Of course, that wasn't *my* brightest idea as that was ages ago and I won't get the pins until this winter when I am in Europe, but that was before I made many friends on here. At any rate, it can actually be done because I did it twice and the pins arrived and they charged my card with no problems. :)

Grim said he'd done it too... I'm wondering how long ago it was? It's possible they changed the site since then. My credit card came up declined twice, because the billing address was not an exact match-- because you HAVE to select a country from a pull-down menu; you can't leave it blank or enter something that's not on the list. What country had you entered for billing address?

Weird. Maybe it depends on the bank doing the authorization, and mine is just finicky. :(

(See now you're just encouraging me to try it again.) :)
