Surprise trip to DLR.

I just learned I need to travel to LA for work the week after labor day. The way my trip will be I will be able to go by DLR that weekend after labor day. It is the same time Mickey's Circus will be happening at WDW, so I am not expecting anything to be going on at DLR. But still excited.

I remember someone mentioning there is a store near the park that you can buy pins at (not Mickey's of Glendale). Could someone tell me the name and how far it is from DLR?

There is a character warehouse over off the 91 and Flower but they only have a few pins with bad designs. They have more kids clothes than anything. There will be people at DLR that can't go to the WDW release. Also might be a good time to find hidden mickey's if the regulars aren't there scooping them all up at opening.

If you're here on 9/14 you could go to DSF for the Nemo 3D marquee. Will most likely require a sleepover with 250 other people.

Woot, surprise trips to Disneyland rock something wonderful. If you do get a chance, go over to My-D. Lots to choose from, $2 traders, and their staff is really nice.

Thanks for all the help. I will definately go by My-D and see if they have any pins I might want. It sounds like a good place to go by. I will only be at DLR the 7th and 8th, so I will miss the DSF release. When it gets closer to the dates I might see if anyone from DPF might be around DLR. Have not ever really traded in person (a little scary and exciting).

Where ever you go, leave yourself enough time for driving and traffic.

I had a surprise for work and did the same thing as you. There accidents up and down the freeway which slowed me up. Check your traffic report at the start of your pin hunting.

Wow, I've never heard of My D Pins and it's in my area! Definitely going to check this out, as Character Warehouse rarely has anything when I'm there.
