I'm going to WDW on Sunday! This will be my first time going to WDW since I've become an avid pin collector. What stores are the best to find some limited edition pins? I'm especially hoping to find some of the "wicked fun for everyone' pins (hope they still have some) and 30th anniversary Epcot. Also some of the resort train mystery collection (are these still out?).

I was also wondering if WDW has the deal where you buy $30 worth of pins and you receive if a mystery pin. If so, where is that at?

Thanks for your help! --Annie

I know under the hat at hollywood studios, when I was there last.. they had a deal if you spent $30 you could get some special pins (forgot which ones) for $3.

Downtown disney was the same, if you bought $30 you could get some hidden mickey pins for $3 each.

When we were there in early September. There are definitely fewer LE pins at the WDW stores than there used to be.

DS - The Sorcerer's hat in DS had very few LE pins.
AK pin cart near the attraction times - had a few, but nothing like they used to.
Epcot Pin area was a good location.
MK - Frontierland Trading post was good. However on out last day, the HM poster pin came out. We were among the first ones there and they knew nothing about the pin. We had to hurry over to Epcot pin area and buy our pins then catch Magical Express for our flight.
DTD pin store is also a good location. However, people at the trading event warned us that they tend to sell out of LE pins quicker than other locations.

all the stores make you drool....i personally love DTD..The deal is correct for every $30 you can get the $3 HM pins. also a tip if you have a disney visa or season pass you get 10%off. also i always check the disney store at DTD right down from pintraders because sometimes they have a few left over boxes of limited release pins other places are out of. Its kinda hit or miss, the do not cayy LE pins where pintraders does and they are in a case on the wall, usually 2 per person.

If the Epcot 30th pins are handled anything like the MK 40th anniversary, they will only be sold at Epcot.
For the 40th, lines formed early and they handed out wrist bands before the park even opened. Based on the color wrist band, there were certain hours you could line up. Basically, the color guaranteed what you would be able to get. There was a chance of leftovers from the previous group, but it wasn't guaranteed.

Also, for the MK 40th, they only sold pins at one location. (It wasn't even a store location).

Watch the various Disney websites and forums, for the MK 40th, information literally came out 1-2 days in advance and changed the day before.
