Monthly Pin Allowance
It's sooo hard for me to control myself lol. We are trying to save to go to WDW in Feb and I have some credit card debt I need to pay off. I have made the decision to not purchase anymore traders until WDW, and give myself a $50 a month budget for keepers. It was a hard decision, because I love to trade online. Trading is what makes this hobby unique and fun. It's only a few months and once I am in the happiest place on earth it will all be worth it. :)

Keep your eye on the prize and should be easier. My rule of thumb for WDW is decided RIGHT now what you will spend on pins on your trip and then double it (dont doubt me) It impossible not to buy when you are there and you dont have shipping costs and you can always start a thread and try for a casual trading hour with folks from here that are in the area--fun! Then make a pretty envelope of WDW and shove money in ti til you reach your spending amount. Also if you dont have an annual pass please take the time now to get a disney visa, because every $50 you get 10% off your purchase so shop wisely but then you also get 5% cash back on your card! do the math.. xo have a blast and save save save

I have been absolutly horrible....i have managed to feed the kids less, cut college (they can just work at target forever), i am wearing the same clothes for a while now--i see holes and rips are in. The toilet is leaking and the pool stayed closed all summer (ok thats true) and i have yet to turn on the heat--waiting till it drops below freezing. Thats my basic pin funding plan.
freakin pins:rant:

Very wise advice, Dawny! I should have done this, and will do this for all future trips.

Just got back from WDW last week. I had spent a lot of time before I left deciding exactly what pins I was going to get and even made a backup list for, if for some reason, I couldn't find those particular ones. I did that so I would stay focused and only buy those particular pins! Haha, I still ended up coming back with 4 extra pins. I love them, and I'm happy I got 'em, but I wish I would have budgeted for them!

yeh there are always unexpected rack pins or and LE you didnt know got released early or an annual pass pin that somebody gets for you---always something GOOD!!! damn them
