Well that was a very interesting read, thanks ! Would be so incredible to be a member !

(But think of how many pins you could buy with that initial 27500, and 10000 a year !)

I actually had access to Club 33 for a year a while back. I ate there 6 times, taking my parents, my in laws, and 3 of my coworkers with me. Never had a bad meal. I was bummed when I lost my access. My boss is a huge Walt Disney fan so being able to eat in Club 33 was a dream come true for him. It was cool to be able to make that happen.

Reading that was... sad. I've gone to DL ever since I was a little girl and I have frequently caught myself thinking, "Disneyland feels...different...it's changing" and not in an entirely comforting sense. Of course, all things change with time but it was just sad to read this person talking about how much of Walt's personal touches have been removed or abandoned and the change in guest service (though I've met some outstanding CMs in my many visits there). I've noticed it too in the park and even in the little things like the pins and the quality/variety of them. Maybe it's just me...Anyway, thank you for the link to that. It was a good read if a bit sad in some parts :)

long read. sum nice info but also sad to hear what most disney fans aready know. The park that Walt made for us to love and share with our fams is no longer around. Mayb sumday the upper managers will bring back the standerds set up by Walt himself.

still the best park around but not the same magic as 10-20 years ago

That was a good AMA. I think the biggest surprise to me was that you have to make reservations months in advance. I thought it was exclusive. $10k a year to pay $150 per person and you can't even get a table on short notice?

I think the months ahead are a bit exaggerated for busy times. I've been notified that you are able to make a reservation maybe a week ahead depending on the season.

Up until they made the changes people did have to reserve months in advance. There were so many people on Craigslist charging people to get them in that it made it hard to get reservations. Now it is mostly a few days in advance with the exception of the occasional busy weekend. There is also a way for the general public to get in now, but it costs more than what the guys on Craigslist charge.

I can't believe the cost of the membership! WOW!

But it is on my bucket list to eat there with my husband and cousin before we kick it. ;)

so u can just buy your way in now.??? I have a;ways wanted to go eat there just one time. Take my fam and of corse get a bunch of pics. Sorry to the guy that has the membership. I know u wish so many looky lues going there. For me i would love to dress up and follow all the rules. I can respect how lucky i would b if i was there. Never would see my fam in shorts or acting a fool up there. thanks agian for a good read. I still have club 33 on my must do disney dream trips. Now im not sure if i need to put the new club on the list sumwere also.( much harder to get in)

For those that were able to get in, you are extremely lucky. My boyfriend and I wish we could go eat there one day, no matter what the cost. I understand the quality has decreased over the years, but for us as Disney fans it would be wonderful just to check it out.

I've been twice! Lunch once and dinner once. Dinner was before the change in terms, so I got my ticket included (went during a blackout day for my pass). Lunch was after the change and it was on a day my AP was good :) It's a nice environment but, I don't know if it's worth the price/cost.

You are SO LUCKY!!!!!

I just want to go inside! I don't even want to eat there! Haha. It is on my bucket list, too, but I doubt it will ever happen. I cannot justify that membership price! Even if I had the money, I think I would feel a little guilty paying that much for a membership! :o
