There was a thread a couple months ago about a trader in France. I searched but I could not find it.

Can someone PM the name of the trader, I got a trade request this morning.

I keep running into very difficult French traders. They want to trade based on retail price of the pin and not the market value. So their $12 rack pin for my $12 DSF pin, theirs is market value maybe $15, mine is $35. I get this all the time. Is that a cultural thing there? Or are they all just sharks like that?
The best pin people trader with for DLP are people from Belgium and the Netherlands instead.
I had a thread about "ForYou" a few weeks ago. He finally mailed my pins. After he got mine in his hand and like a month after the trade request.

Wow, I wouldn't really brand all Disneyland Paris traders as sharks, but there ya go...

I have had some very positive experiences with Parisian traders in the past (who I might add traded based on market value), but yes there are a couple who I know to steer clear of... I'm sure someone will clue you in on who to avoid ;) I agree that there are some wonderful traders from Belgium and the Netherlands too, most traders from Paris are very nice and easy to work with, and their English is generally very good too :) Good luck trading! ^_^ Paris pins are the prettiest! ^_^

I've traded with many people from Paris, and a lot of them have been wonderful. :) Traders in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany are also way awesome from what I've experienced.

There is one particular Paris trader I will steer clear from due to his/her/their reputation.

I'm sure there are plenty of nice traders. I didnt' mean to call them all, it was more of an open ended question, like "are there any nice/fair ones?" which you answered.

I have been trying to acquire the Sleeping Beauty jumbo pin for a few weeks now. They keep quoting the original price of $86 US after currency conversion, then they want me to give them like 6 pins that retailed for $86 but are probably worth over $200-$250. It just boggles my mind that they are so hard lined. To each their own, but they aren't getting pins from me like that. Many of the requestors consider the Tangled Opening Day to be worth just the $12 it originaly cost. Or a Beauty and the Beast PODM just worth $25.

the sleeping beauty pin is 60 euro outright plus people had to pay to go to the event to be able to purchase it. I think I read its still in harringtons as it didnt sell out so you might have a better chance seeing who is going and getting it for cost rather than trade :P

sorry to hijack the thread.
