So even with my last bay pin purchase issue I saw this listing:Walt Disney Pin Event LE 3500 The Little Mermaid Ursula as Vanessa MINT ON CARD, for 24.99 and thought thats a good price and I bought it. Well, this must be a higher power telling me to stop buying pins on the bay because even though this pin was listed as being mint on card... um the dangle part has been hot glued (The back where the wire comes through is covered in hot glue) Like for real...? The front of the pin is great... and I want to keep the pin... I just think I should get a partial refund. Do sellers do that? Is that a thing? Or should I just let it go?
pin15754

Update: The pin does have glue on the dangle part on the back :D Thanks Everyone! :D

So now I can freakout about being happy for having gotten a grail.

Yeah, they should be able to do a partial refund... tell them you will open a case for the item not being described if not.

BUT I am not familiar with this pin- that could be how all these pins are? I would contact someone who has this pin, and ask them what theirs looks like.

I looked on pinpics and I did not see anything... Good idea! I do not think disney would hot glue the dangle on... but I could be wrong.

Anyone with this pin please weigh in! :D thanks!

That's horrible. :(

People need to be more honest in their decisions.

You can def try to get a partial refund. Sometimes sellers will give you a hard time with it, but it is always worth a try.

If that fails at least you should have no problems returning the pin and getting a complete refund.

Good luck with it.

I am not familiar with this particular pin, but I know that Disney does use hot glue to secure wire parts on some pins, for example this UK release 68560: Disney Store Europe: Alice and the Cheshire Cat, had hot glue on the back holding the cheshire cat in place.

Wow :( Hoping that it's supposed to be like that (bad quality if it is from the sound of it), if not good luck getting a partial refund.

If that is the case I will totally "foot-in-mouth". That makes me feel a little better to hear that there are other pins with glue.

I just did not expect to turn the pin around and see a glob of glue. I love the pin though so regardless I am going to keep it.

I have this pin and it too has what seems to be a dab of hot clue or clear glue of some sort, maybe this is how the pin is supposed to look? idk I'll post pictures in a minnute

If that is the case boo on disney for making it look sloppy.

(but it does make me feel 10000000 times better because the pin is one of my grails...) :D

Yep! That's the way it is. Mine has a pretty large glob of yellow-ish glue on the back, and I bought it straight from WDW. :)

YAY!!!!!!!!! OKAY SO TOTALLY HAPPY!!! So thankful for everyone weighing in! Now I can REJOICE IN PIN GLORY :D
WOOT WOOT

P.S. I thought your signature was a message to me because my mom always calls me Lana Banana
