Chamilia Charms for Disney

[I hope this is in the right area, but as charms are collectibles in a sense, I thought I should put this here. Mods feel free to move if it doesn't fit here]

I'm going to WDW at the start of August and I've been looking around for a keepsake to buy when I'm there. I usually buy a bag and a nice piece of jewellery on any of my trips [mainly non-Disney trips], and while I've decided on the bag, I'm not sure about the jewellery piece. I checked on the Disney Store US website and came across the Chamilia charms. They're rather similar to the Pandora charms, but they have a Disney line as well. There's only a small selection on the DS.com but there seems to be more on the company's own website.

And I already have a small wishlist of charms that I want. They all seem to have great reviews on DS.com but I was wondering if anyone on here owned any of the charms.

I was wondering if anyone owned a Chamilia bracelet.

What do you think of the quality? Does it hold up well? Which stores in WDW carry the brand? Jewellery always tends to look nicer in real life and I was wondering if this was also the case with these pieces as well.

i do not own them but i have seen them. they seem to be good quality and have a nice range. i prefer the dangle charms myself but they are really cute

I'm usually a dangle charm person as well and because I already have a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet, I couldn't justify getting a Pandora. And I thought the Chamilia was something different that most people won't have, and my charm collection could be something I could grow with each trip to Disney.

When I saw the Cinderella and Snow White charms, I was kind of sold.

I've had a Chamilia bracelet with charms but not Disney ones. It's great quality I got mine from HSamuel and I think theres a few Disney ones you can get there too.

I think Chamilia is a little less expensive than the Pandora, although I am not sure

Perhaps I was unlucky, but I had one that went rather odd after about a week of wearing it, as the platings started to come off all the charms, I was heartbroken as I loved it up until that point

I think I'll wait until I'm at WDW, so I can examine the jewellery myself then make my decision. I do hope it's of good quality though, I would love to get the Snow White and Cinderella charms.

I'm a Chamilia fan - my hubby bought me the bracelet about 2 years ago with my first Disney charm and I've been hooked ever since! I also love it because they sell Swarovski charms. I have about 7/8 Disney charms and I'm only disappointed with one of them which is this one:

And that is only because it isn't as bright in the pictures so I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it! In terms of quality their is no difference in my opinion between Chamilia & Pandora as they are very very similar. I'll take some pics of mine when I get a chance but I'd definitely recommend.

Hi! I have a chamilia bracelet, the quality is great. I also have a pandora braided leather bracelet. I have all of my chamilia charms on my pandora bracelet. Some were a little difficult to get on. I have had some of the charms for two years and I haven't had any trouble with mine. I never take my bracelet off I sleep and shower with it on. I love mine!
