Hello All,

Yesterday I saw a video of Mystic Manor and all I have to say is.......:shock:WOW:shock:!! It is one of the COOLEST dark rides ever to come to a Disney park! We need on of these in the states! If you do not know what Mystic Manor is, it is HongKong Disneyland's take on the Haunted Mansion. The story is about a traveler/explorer who goes around the world hunting for rare treasures. He has a cute pet monkey named Albert who is his little mischievous sidekick. Without spoiling anything, the real premiss behind the attraction is that everything comes to life. It reminded me of the movie Night at the Museum but 100x better.

I was wandering if you think they will make any pins with Albert. I am really loving this Monkey and would consider collecting him if they made enough pins. I know it just opened yesterday therefore there is not that much merchandise but there are multiple pins but NONE with Albert!

Do you think they will make pins with Albert? I feel that since he is not a well known Disney character Disney will be more hesitant to make pins, but I am sure they would sell.

Would you buy pins with Albert, the Explorer references to the ride? Let me know.

I saw the video and thought it was quite well done. I would love to see it in Adventureland at MK!
 
I just found out that since there is no stationary track, your vehicle goes into different rooms every time (different sequences). Giving you a different feel of Mystic Manor every time you ride.

This ride is amazing...
Wow, I really want to go to Hong Kong! I have a pen pal there who also collects disney pins! One day I hope to meet her and go to HKDL with her! :)

This, 1,000,000 %!!! I think Mystic Manor would fit in much better at DAK than that lame Avatar Land (UGH..just the thought of it makes me sick) Sorry avatar fans. I hated the movie.
 
Is this ride in Tokyo DL or Hong Kong or both?? I was under the impression it was all new for Hong Kong.

On a side note does anyone know if Frank Welker voices the monkey's chatter/voice??

This ride is currently just in HKDL. I do not know who voiced Albert.
