Do you list every single Pin you own in you're pinpics account??
we have most listed. but its hard to keep up sometimes. i THINK we are up-to-date ( i also dont like taking things off my wants till i have them in hand, just in case)

It depends of the ratio trade / wants. If it good, add to Pinpics and trade it here
If it's not good, keep it on the lanyard for the next day at the Parc

:) I do! My OCD means that I update it pretty much the same day that I receive a new pin. I won't put it on my boards until I've put it on my Owns list!

All of my owns and trades are on Pinpics and up to date, but its probably easier for me to do so, as being in the UK, the opportunity to trade or buy doesnt come up so often.

All mine are not listed on pinpics, mainly because I forget or am too lazy to do so. I've gotten pins in zaps that I try to list right away on my owns but don't always do :(

As soon as I bought a new pin, it's already moved from my wants to my owns list, so yes, I immidiatly change my lists on pinpics.

I keep mine as current as i can as well. now my traders, thats different. I dont put up all my HM or cast lanyard traders. It just takes up too much space and not worth it of me to track constantly. Mow i try to keep my regular wants and trades pages up to date as well , but sometimes it gets away from me. But it is always at least a month current.

The owns list is always up to date, as it is a very useful tool for keeping track of what we own and avoids the duplicate pin issue.
The trades list gets a bit sloppy because my wife is very good about trading things out of the book and never telling me.
The wants list is something that grows and grows, because searching for inclusion in the owns list often pops something we like and had no idea existed.

I list all of my collection, trades, and wants. I do sometimes have pins that I am all 3, owning, trading, and wanting. But not often.

I think people are just overly paranoid if they think they need to hide their collection. I have never asked someone for a pin from their collection unless they first offered me to look there. I often use someones collection or trades lists to see if they are full of crap or not too. If they have nothing listed for either and are giving unsolicited advice, maybe wanna take that with a grain of salt.

I have all of them listed in my owns and wants, but I have some traders that I only offer rather than have offers come in as it floods my inbox with OEs for Grail status pins. :/

All of my pins are listed (except for ones that are coming in the mail in the next few days). I like being able to quickly look up their info if I need it. And I don't have that many pins so it's not too bad keeping up to date. :)

Yes, but I don't have a Mega collection like some folks here quite yet. Every time I make a trade or purchase, I update it and it only takes a few minutes since it's just a couple at a time.

All of mine are on pinpics, with the exception of two or three that I can't find. They are old rack Mickey and Minnie pins that my inlaws bought years ago, and searching for them brings up too many pins. Im a bit anal about stuff, so it kills me not to have them listed.

I don't list any pins in my collection. I only list my trades and wants. Otherwise, I get people wanting me to pull from my collection for trades. There's other ways to list your collection in PinPics. You can create a page that only you can view which keeps it private.
If you are talking about Groups, that is true for now...but according to the mods, the new PinPics is not going to allow Groups.

To answer the OP, we list all of our owns on PinPics.

My pinpics is about 95% accurate for owns, trades and wants. Sometimes I forget to add a pin to my owns so it's probably off by 5%.

I know a few people just create an extra pinpics name and list their collection there. I really wish Pinpics would show how many say they "Own" any given pin. Make it just an inactive number, all anonymous, just put the number of owners. Would be interesting to see how many LE100's have more than 100 owners, or DSF le300's. Or rare pins that everyone wants that are only half accounted for on pinpics, others probably owned by people not on pinpics.

It makes it harder to zap people when they don't list their collection. Especially if their wants list is short and full of VHTF, expensive items. You wouldn't want to send a pin someone already owns. And with collections you can see if they have additional side collections that they like adding to, even if their wants list is targeted in a different direction. Or if people would be interested in alternate trades, (usually comes up for me if I see a person has a common pin for trade, but again, no common pins as wants). I keep my wants list as small as I can (even though it's still huge) to try and target certain pins. I kind of assume a lot of people do the same. Especially, leaving off common items so they don't get so many unbalanced trade requests.

Too answer the question. I list everything, and keep it up to date.

Always so quick on the defensive bravado. It wasn't directed at you, but if you fall into that category then perhaps the shoe fits. There are many reasons why people don't put their collection. I know more than a few. I know more with multiple accounts though than people that don't list their collection. Validly, your concern that people may ask for a pin is a real possibility. But I have maybe had that happen 1 or 2 times in the 2+ years I've been on DPF. And I have never asked someone else. I have offered pins from my collection for a pin I want but I always have the right to say "no" so what's the problem?

My opinion, is not putting your collection is; A. just a preference, no big deal, B. paranoid about people knowing/seeing their pins, or C. more sinister in nature. I think there are a few C's out there that hide their collections and play off they are more of a beginner than they want people to know to try to get sympathy trades easier. Or they want to pass off naivety to someone. There's probably a few B's that do that too. But I understand if you have been asked by a lot of people about a pin in your collection then you could off all the owns. I just like to keep track of my 1600+ pins on pinpics, it would be too insane to have that many pins and not list it somewhere. I have been contemplating pulling my pinpics collection into excel somehow.
