Is this the end of Disney Store Europe exclusives?

Currently buying for the European Disney Stores is done within the Hammersmith office, however soon all buying will be done in the Pasadena office. Great, this means we might get some great adult merchandise.

Does this however mean the end of European exclusive pins?

The Lone Ranger pin set was a shared release with Europe and DS.com. The upcoming Monsters inc pins appear to be a joint release.

This along with the lack of interest from Hammersmith makes me wonder if the end is in sight.

Perhaps the way forward is the DLP releases that are only available online.

Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me being paranoid?

I have noticed this too. If there are no more DS Europe exclusives... :( as we have had some great pins.

Maybe DLRP will produce exclusives for DS like they have done with Dreams?

Oh btw :suspect: I didn't do it :lol:
 
I really hope this isn't true :( I mean, I noticed it all too, but I was hoping that after these releases we'd go back to the exclusives - some of the ones lately have actually been really good and sold out super quick, I don't think it makes sense for them to go 'oh, the UK LE pins are selling brilliantly lately, let's just stop them and go with non-exclusive ones'. But then, with the office change, there is a chance...
Fingers crossed then! If the UK/Europe exclusives go, us UK pinners will be even less able to trade properly!

YAY ADULT CLOTHES!! and 3.i hope this isnt true, it would make trading very hard in the UK.... plus everyone always says how nice our pins are... and how well crafted most of them are. its not like we don't buy and most don't sell out. fingers crossed it doesn't dissapear
 
Agreed; I hope it isn't true. The Europe pins are always really good quality, and I agree it would make things even harder for the UK folks!
 
hope its not true...would be great for more adult type stuff in the stores/online but i hope its not the end of exclusives...would make trading near impossible in the uk.....we would have nothing to barter with.....hmmm, hope its not the case, we want some really good releases....not them to stop!
 
Trading is really hard in the UK anyway. Getting rid of the exclusives will make it impossible for us to have anything really worth trading. It seems good that there will be more adult merch, but it just depends on what they decide to do. All we can really do is wait and see.

I guess we will just have to see what happens. I've been thinking it might be the end for a while and the lack of UK exclusives may be Disney Store testing the water to see what happens.

It is interesting to see that I'm not alone with my suspicions. Time will tell.

I think with the results of Kevin and Babies pin the other month, doesnt take a genious to work out that if it is a LE and decent... We can sell it out in 3 minutes!!
So hopefully they let us keep our exclusives, it's all we have!! Lol
 
I suppose if the worst does happen, it's not like we've not lived without pins being sold in the UK before. :)
