I was out bid at $100, I was thinking $25 for each pin would have been a fair deal

just kidding  I'm actually getting nerevous to see who wins!

The most I've seen these sell for in the past 6 months...

Up - $1,000
Tangled - $850
Ratatouille - $525
Brave - $100

That totals $2,475!!!!! Those are the HIGHEST sale prices (eBay and DPF).

So... Way to go bulk buyer - you really got yourself a deal.

It is weird to think that these 4 marquees are worth much more than the rarest disney auction set!! The Princess Carousel Set!!!

I just saw that too. For that big a drop at least 2 bids would have to be retracted.

Do you think that those retracted bids were the result of "oh man, I don't have that much money!", or perhaps shill bidding? That's a pretty big fall in price.

ALL of us on the forum can pitch in and buy the lot together...then everyone can have them for one hour a day, before the next person gets them!

It does make you wonder? If it was shill bidding I wouldn't expect them to bid the price up so quickly, and then suddenly retract the bids with 1 1/2 days to go, but who knows?

I wonder if 2 people put in very high bids to make sure they got them, but then were surprised that the price actually went that high? Sometimes I suspect that's what's happened when a pin suddenly sells for a much higher price than past sales would predict.

I placed a bid of $2500 and I was still outbid. I then get a message about a bid retraction and now I was the leader.

This is too fishy so I retracted my bid and it is down to 1650.00 for the set.

This is way fishy ...from $3000 to $2400 and now it's sitting at $1680.

Take a look at the bid history, including the automatic bids. You can see that retracted bids have played a major part in raising the price.

Also, one of the early bidders has only 1 feedback, as a buyer from this same seller.

I bid 1655, because that what I think they're worth given average recent sales.

At first I was bidding against a person with one feedback... That person's only feedback is from this seller.... Hmmmmm. I questioned the seller early on and got a very strange answer. I'd bid a little more normally... But probably not this time.
