I am sitting here at my kitchen table getting pins ready to go out tomorrow, and I dropped one. Whenever I drop something I always try and get my foot under it to try and cushion it before it hits the ground. It's just a reaction, and I do it without thinking about it. So I dropped this pin and tried to get my foot under it, and failed. I ended up hitting the side of the pin, pin post facing my foot, and slamming my foot against a table leg. Sunk it in all the way, lol! Didn't feel too great; I'm hoping that never happens again! Have any of you suffered similar pinjuries?

When I was at Disneyland earlier this year a rubber mickey back fell off one of my pins but, the pin did not fall of my lanyard it was still hanging on and I had not noticed yet. So, while in line for Pirates of the Caribbean I turn around to face my husband to talk to him and he decides to give me a big huge tight bear hug....and yup the pin went into my chest. Not fun.

Wow like how does that happen? I took my sister to Disney for the first time at the first of this month. Well she was also standing at a table looking through the pins she just traded. Well a pin fell and she did not move. lol It stabed her right on top of her big toe. I am so sorry I had to laugh at her. My husband did to and said how does that even happen? hahaha The only times I have stabed myself with a pin is just on the finger when the pin went through the mickey backs.

YOU ARE ALL PATHETIC. Instead of Zaps i will be surprise mailing tiny pin first aid kits. I have never done this because I like Mary Poppins am practically perfect in every way!

Hang on a second, I didn't realized I needed my hip waders to read the forum.

i love you guys....even tho you are all klutzes....and David you can read wearing your Tu tu and giant mermaid pin...that should suffice.

Tetanus shots should be a requirement for this hobby.

The last time I went to the doc they asked if I had one in the last ten years and I was like... umm I've never had one. And she asked "Have you had any puncture wounds within the past 10 years" and I couldn't help but think of all the pin punctures I've received over the years. Needless to say I am set up for an appointment for the vaccine. :suspect:

Just today, I was putting some pins in my book and I grabbed the pin wrong and it drew blood very quickly. I was suprised how sharp it was and it hurt too. I'm glad it was my finger and not my foot.....ouch.
