We bought a pin from him a while back (a month and a half ago), he said he was having trouble sending it out by mail, which we didn't worry too much since we know him, but now he's not answering our texts about never receiving our pin.

We're wondering if everything is alright.


UPDATE

Alright guys, so I just finished getting off the phone with Shawn. First and foremost, he is not dead and ALL his family members are doing just fine. Fortune, whether you made it up or someone made it up and told you, that is a horrible thing to say and announce when it is not true. Please try to verify next time, as those are very serious news.

He told me that to his knowledge all other packages, except for ours, had been sent out by his mother. (I've asked him to ask whether she sent them out). I know that some of you guys have not received them yet either, so please let me know if you haven't. I've asked him to let me know our tracking number (as he's shipping ours today) and the tracking numbers for all other pins since he has not been on the forum lately. I will try to get in contact with him soon again to get another update, but I would really like to know who hasn't and exactly what it was to let him know that there are other people worried about it as well.


I'm updating this so everyone that is waiting for pins knows a little more information, please keep negative comments to a low none on here. Now that we know he is doing fine, we just want everyone that has been waiting to receive their pins :)

Well I tried to pm them here on dpf,their inbox is full,their email here is not active and they are private on pinpics,
I hope you get in contact with them soon
 
I will swing by the trade tables next week and make some inquiries. Thats were I always saw him before. He and I may have our differences, but he never seemed shady to me, so I dont THINK he would back out or run off in the middle of the trades.

We don't think he's shady either. We've chatted with them and traded with them at the park/PTN, so we're just wondering what is going on. Have you guys seen him recently there?

cant say that I have, but that really doesnt mean much. I have been avoiding the trade tables the last few weeks. That blue wall reflects the heat and BAKES us. So I go to DLR and end up going on rides or spending time at flicks fun fair in puddle park with my girls instead. We need to find a better place for trading that isnt so hot. That wall turns the whole area into a microwave oven.
 
As some of you may or may not know stonecoldboo316 has been battling illness on again and off again all his life. Recently he had fallen very very ill and I am very sorry to say he is no longer with us :(

Wow. That's devastating. How recently did he pass away? Does his family need any help? I'm very sorry to hear this.

How recent? He was at Frank and Sons on Saturday, looked healthy.

@chickenlittle: I was also at franks saturday as per I work there now and did not see him. I was informed of it a couple weeks ago.
 
I am confused...

Fortune says Shawn died, but others are saying they saw shawn this last weekend.

This is a horrible tragic thing, if he did die. But I also thought it was his brother who has been dealing with illness. *Not that his brother passing away would be any less sad*

Can someone who knows him better please get solid confirmation? And find out if there is anything this community can do for the family?
