I can't believe I actually cried over pins this morning. None of my avenues have panned out since the bomb of how Disney handled the release went this morning... What has become of my life?! Ugh.

I know the exact same feeling Laz I had over 5 different routes to get at least 1 set before today in hopes that at least one would pan out and get me an Ariel pin. Due to how terribly Disney handled the pins, all 5 are pretty much gone so this morning I was ready to give up that I can understand wanting to cry

I think I needed to read that swim2sea, so thank you ^_^ I love Ariel, it's a beautiful pin, but there are certain things we have to take a step back and realize what is happening Thank you.

Everyone keep knocking how Disney handled the release this morning. I actually thought it went smoothly. And kinda smart too to stagger the release over 3 days. I lined up at 5:00 to get a set, now I just need to decide whether to sell or to keep. And now I can sleep in before heading up there the next 2 days lol.

And on a side note, the pins are bigger than I expected. Probably close to 3" each.

Are you either a sorcerers pass holder or an exhibitor? I know people that were in line since the night before who are D23 members and they could not get a set. Just wondering how you could get there at 5 and manage to score one.

I'm wondering too about 100 of us spent the night since Thursday and non of us were able to get a set because all the sorcerer members were granted early access before us D23 members.

I heard that vendors/exhibitors were actually not allowed to purchase ahead of time. As we all keep hearing a lot of different things, there is no way to pinpoint what really is happening, but from what I heard Disney was rather strict with vendors.

Best of luck to everyone who wants this beautiful set. I keep finding faults in them, but I still want one too.

Kidding aside, are these pin-on-pin? Looking at Ariel & Eric's pictures, I somehow get that feeling.

It's really sad to see that there are several sellers on eBay that have sold 2 or more sets already it just seems that there would be better control over these. At SDCC when something is limited to one per person they stamp your badge so you are sol for getting more than that. Obviously there are always people that will lie, cheat and steal in order to work the system but at least it keeps most people honest.

Like the rest of you I am disappointed that these were not released online and that for the majority of collectors these will remain out of reach.

I feel you, Laz. I want Rapunzel and Flynn, also. I'm heartsick over what I have heard went down at D23 and how inappropriately people acted, but I'm a new member and not going there.
